I have, mongol. But I cant access the menu in-game while pressing F5.

Im not sure what to do once the .exe is launched, it doesnt give me any prompt, so I updated the module as it recommended and then here we are.

Launched the exe, did the update thing it recommends and that's it.

Selected the module I was gonna play (1257AD_modded) in this case. Updated, and just fiddled around, not sure what to do.

select your module and click the bottom right button with a green arrow you mouthbreather

Nevermind, got it to work. For some reason the default button was set to F11 rather than F5 as it said in the readme.

I checked almost every village, no matter the region, no matter the number of cattle village has, they sell it for something about 1700-2100

do I just give them one village each, transfer tons of fresh recruits to them, and save their asses in battle whenver I can?

Only recruit honorable lords
If you have to recruit the other types of lords just give them villages that way when they defect they don't take you territory with them
Otherwise just let them their do their things the ai is really only useful at defending your territory they aren't really worth the time wasted trying to babysit them

you don't have to charge to move your ranged units in position. they'll charge when they start taking casualties.

if the armor/shield have 2 black and 2 yellow squares united like a cross then that armor shows your banner, in some mods i think 1257 too it changes the yellow squares for red.
