Just keep doing the story quests if you already have Rogue until you hit a level wall, then do a leveling roulette before hopping into Palace of the Dead as a last resort.

boost potion, not available until stormblood releases. you can boost any class to 60 if you buy it in the mogstation with real money. you cant choose the new classes that are released with stormblood, only the older ones

it's gonna be a potion that lets you level a job up/skip sections of main story. it is not recommended for new players at all

I don't gather or craft either, I just ended up with a lot of lore and GC seals and sold stuff over time. Plus, I have friends who drag me along to maps and stuff, so that helps.
Also, not doing housing also helps. Can't be a wandering ronin if I'm paying for housing, or something.
