What the fuck is the point. It does nothing

What the fuck is the point. It does nothing.

Rain helps plants grow though

It's comfy

He meant the blue tint you dingus

It is a fuckin tease is what it is.

>Starts raining or foggy morning.
>Temp outside is warm; but not bad.
>Roll down window to briefly enjoy how the weather feels.
>FUCK YOU, EVERY BIT OF GLASS IN YOUR CAR IS NOW FOGGED UP.
>SHIT! Crank up heat to max, try to defog glass.
>Now it's hot as balls; turn on AC. Cold air means windows fog back up from moisture in air.
>Now caught in a shitty cycle of heat/AC to try and get back to visbillity and comfort.

Fuck.

Wax your windscreen

Why would it fog up once the window is rolled down?

He's a moron

can you not have the AC on with the temp up to defog? AC takes moisture out of the air, it'll clear the windscreen really fuckin fast.

AC doesn't universally dry air, it's proportional to the temperature differences of cooling it. The cooler the AC is set, the drier the air becomes. If it's set to heating it won't dry air at all.

i stick it to 21c and it works in about a minute

AC was invented by the textile industry to dehumidify air
There is no "setting it cooler" it's either on or off. You can set the temperature that it'll turn off at and the fan speed, but the compressor clutch is either engaged or disengaged

>start the car early in the morning
>body heat immediately starts fogging up the windows
>turn on cold ac and put a jacket on
>windows defog

Just turn on the defroster

Takes too long to work

Your A/C doesn't turn on with the defroster?

I bet it does

...

It does.
I'm saying the defroster takes too long to work on my windscreen, and then it keeps fogging up when I'm done with adding heat. (I don't like the feeling of breathing heated air, so I turn it off or to cooler AC).

I'd rather just stay cold and not have everything fog up for 10 minutes.

>The cooler the AC is set, the drier the air becomes.

Not understanding how recirculating auto climate controls work. AC dries and cools air. Heat (at the same time) warms it back up. But now it's really dry (relative humidity).

front windshield defroster are so comfy
glass gets fully defogged in a few seconds with AC and maximum blow
and to keep it defogged it only takes some defroster use from time to time

>body heat immediately starts fogging up the windows

No. That would be you exhaling moisture.

Don't use the re-circ during winter. Even with the AC on it still makes the interior all humid.

Back windows down, heater on masterrace.

yeah, but no.
my climate control mixes warm air in to maintain the temperature i set it to.

then it's wasting a ton of energy keeping the AC on all the time

zero fucks given

Have you ever, in your life, looked at a psychrometric chart? AC can cool without removing moisture, but only up to the saturation point of the air. Beyond that, it has to remove moisture.

invest in a set of these.
