A7 2012-2015 models

>A7 2012-2015 models.

Really considering this.
Any warnings or suggestions.

it's all looks, beneath is an engine that will break and you will be known as the audi driver, enjoy.

>Buying an audi that starts with A instead of S or R
shiggy diggy.

Audis are quite possibly the most lolcantturn cars you can buy today, with the exception of the R8.
Heavy, unreliable, expensive and difficult to repair, and their handling can be summed up in two words: terminal understeer.

someone here wrote that the a engine models are made by vw engineers and just the s, rs models are made by audi.

Why an Audi? Spend your money on something actaully luxurious instead of a bagel-Skoda

Four zeros on the front and one behind the wheel.

If you absolutely MUST have a """"4-door coupe"""" get a 6-series Gran Coupe or CLS, not a piece of shit VW

>suggesting a gran coupe
>ever
kys

Better than an overpriced, oversized Passat

i'm not much of an audi fan but this doesn't share anything with a passat. The engine is longitudinal and it has a real awd system

This

Get an E400 instead

>this doesn't share anything with a passat
Except the entire fucking chassis

>FWD-based """"AWD""""

Why just trying it out first if you like or not?
Ignore these anti-VAG shills.

A is made by Audi
S - RS is made by Quattro GmbH

Any off-lease Audi is a terrible purchase, period

>buying an overpriced VW

>Any Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or Audi purchase is a terrible purchase

Fixed that for ya.

There is a reason rich people lease these pieces of shit. Do not own these brands outside of warranty. In fact, do not own them at all. Lease, hoon, and dump.

Coincidentally, this is also the reason why you don't want to buy a used merc, bmw, or audi - they're not made to last since the business model is to keep wealthy people (and people who want to maintain a certain lifestyle) churning through new models every certain number of years. No one really gives a shit what happens to these cars after 3-5 years so if you buy an old one you're bound to get fucked.

what about the high power variants like amg/m/rs
do they age better as they are built slightly differently?

>Lease, hoon, and dump.
This is why you should do one of two things if you want an audi:
>buy/lease it from new
>buy a used thats at least 6+ years old

The thought being that a new one will by definition have nothing wrong with it. (You'd expect anyway.)
The downside being you'd have to give money to an audi dealer and honestly, fuck them.

And the old one, if it's still kicking around by then will have had anything major already fixed (otherwise it wouldn't still be around), or will have not been abused to fuck and will still be in passable condition.
It's still something of a gamble, like any used car.
And something will always turn up that you need to spend money on anyway.

This sounds like it might be true though.
I wouldn't put it past those arrogant fucks to do something like this.

If you go for the old, check the electrics. They can go bad and end up with the car eating its battery.
The internal lighting/accessory circuit is usually the first suspect.
If you're checking any out and they have trouble starting, or even sound a bit sluggish on the starter - avoid.

They're much more stressed so ironically they're less reliable than regular models, and their exclusive parts cost a fucking fortune.
They also tend to be more complicated so they're harder to work on.

Don't listen to the 12yo that never drive a car in their life.
It's a good car. I advice you the 3.0L TDI if you do a lot of miles.

man this thread is a joke. just keep in mind op, youre probably close to twice the age of the people who are replying to you. and a hundred times less pathetic.

the a7 shares the same 3.0t as the s4, but its a bit slower since its so much heavier. still takes the same mods though, so do upgraded pulleys and a tune and youll be somewhere in the 12s. youll want a set of brakes off the rs7 or s7 too.

regardless, solid cars.

I believe this car will make left and right turns on regular city streets without issue

So you're spending twice as much to get a car that about as fast as a Mustang but understeers like a pig

Wow

Yes. You have no idea what you're talking about.

I would gladly spend any amount of money to not get a ford
