Honestly, 60km/h around the mountain is fast enough, the dipper is scary shit even in a grippy road car at that speed.

If you're lucky though you get there on a quiet day so the cops aren't around to see you going a decent bit quicker on Conrod :^)

Sure, sure - and I accept that without slicks, massive balls and marshalling the top of the mountain would be underpants staining... but that's the thing, I live in Australia and have never been to Bathurst to drive or for the race; I've been to both Spa and the Ring to drive and to watch races because there's the ability to have a punt as well, it adds to the spectacle. I know our risk-averse OH&S culture couldn't handle public driving around Bathurst at speed, but the fact that's it's a complete impossibility saddens me.

*I know in theory I could join the right motoring club and have a possibility of one Sunday in a particular year that they've managed to get a track day organised but living in regional Australia that's just not practical

Why haven't you desu? Even though 2/3 times I've been I've either had my hopes and dreams crushed or been terribly sick it's still the best race I've ever been to, and driving it is crazy fun except for the constant pant wetting from the fear of a cop seeing you doing a kilometre more than 60.

I will one day, I should have already, but it's a comfy tradition in our family - we all go our folks' house at 7:30 in the morning, have breakfast together, watch the race, barbecue lunch and a few beers then leftovers for tea. It's one of the rare days of the year that it's guaranteed we'll all be in the same place at the same time for a full day, and I've been watching it with Dad since I was little. Where are the slow, cautious drivers in pcars 2? Everyone is either a Super Racing God Super Racing or they'll crash into you right off the line. I stay static in my position and the only "passes" I make are from idiots quitting after they slam into a wall at top speed on the first lap.

I'm not sure but I'm playing on PS4 Pro and gameplay is all 60fps, replays are 30fps if you're playing in 4k like I am but if you run the ps4 pro through a 1080p display everything runs at 60fps including replays.

Yeah I really don't know. Only reason I have a PS4 Pro is because I won it in a raffle along with a 4k TV. It's pretty nice yeah but very few games look noticeably better on it vs the base PS4.

Yes, along with 2 variants of tracks already there. There's not much to do in the demo desu. I was told it was the full game just up for a limited time. Oh well, just gotta keep waiting for full release.

In theory you get better framerates on the Pro by enabling boost mode, and I think Bloodborne is one of them. Maybe it shits itself in 4K though.
For GT, the only difference is 60 FPS replays. Which you'll skip anyway.

Yeah there's a bespoke Tesla sim but it's shit - you do about ten laps and run out of battery, then the game doesn't let you play again for four hours.
