What does /dbt/ think? 1993 Katana 600. Clean title and it came with a bluetooth helmet for $700. I bought it non-running, but I cleaned the carbs and changed the plugs. Runs great now

I would guess the bike tries to swing upward to stabilize when more throttle is applied, but a real highside, you know the ones that can really fuck your shit up happens when the bike loses traction in the rear and then rapidly gains it again causes a catapult like reaction

Hard break ins are a meme and a terrible idea. Not redlining your bike before your first service is not a meme and will help with a good wear pattern. Say what you want about dealers but my trusted one tells me not to even go into high RPMs or the highway before that first service, and when you collect on warranty that when the first service was will be the first thing theyll call you out on. 600 miles is first service.
I can guarantee you those squids buying a brand new literbike and revbombing it everywhere to show off infront of their friends are fucking things up.
One thing is though engines are partially broken in at the factory. Some during testing but its far better than in the past like when they used to use release compounds on tire moulds. Scrubbing in your tires is more of a meme than anything. And twist of the wrist will debunk a lot of riding memes.

So I changed the oil and filter on my CB400SF, used Motuo 7100 10W40. Went for a ride and now my clutch is slipping.
When I try to up shift at a high rpm (10k-11k), after I release the clutch it's as if I still have my hand half on the clutch for about a second. Is this normal after an oil change? I never noticed slippage before I changed the oil.
