>Buy Steallaris >but Pirate the DLCs literally what is the point? just take the plunge, me matey.
Austin Cox
Not pirating paradox dlc can get very expensive
Joseph Sanders
Is there something like the Fleet Builder tool in EUIV for Stellaris?
I swear to god I spent half my time just manually adding ships to queues.
I want to be able to just order 30 BB and 200 cruisers or something.
Also, any good mods that add ship variety? Not classes but actual models with working weapons?
Jonathan Russell
aye, but not pirating the main game doesn't make pirating the dlcs it any less illegal
Connor Cooper
It's not about legality.
Oliver Rogers
oh I thought you meant "why not buy the whole thing" rather than "why not pirate the whole thing"
Yeah I think it's weird that people are so obsessed about getting their pirated dlc on their legit vanilla version. I think it's for cheevos that I don't really care about.
Even if I have the vanilla version of a game, and I want to pirate the dlc I just get a seperate pirated version instead. Less stuff to manage.
Connor Nguyen
Oh, I see it's about the cheevos. I'll take that.
Carter Diaz
I just wonder how that works with cheevos you can only get with the dlc, if you get one of those while you're on pirated dlc
Colton Wilson
>Play anything other than space hitler >do nothing the entire game bluh
Jeremiah Clark
Really makes you think
Justin Cox
Only solution I have for fleet building is adding stations to control groups.
Austin Green
but even then you have to click a thousand times
Ryder Martinez
At least you have to move the mouse less, and you can make it quicker
Brayden Smith
>Is there something like the Fleet Builder tool in EUIV for Stellaris? No. But rest assured it'll be in a future DLC for $30 considering it's one of the most requested features the game has.
Way I worked around it is my first 8 or 9 planets all get assigned a number hotkey and over the course of the game they get built up with the dockyards and fleet academies.
I also like to ensure at least a couple have an army focus, with things like clone vats, military academy, slave processing.
It's a lot easier (and quicker to build) when you can just hotkey between planets and don't have to make multiple clicks just to build a single ship. You can queue up dozens of armies as well.
Aiden Diaz
Get something like NSC, which introduces ludicrously powerful ships you only need 2-3 of.
Never have to suffer carpal tunnel syndrome again.
Xavier Cruz
>considering it's one of the most requested features the game has. Kinda of crazy. Since april last year at least.
I guess they've added the rally point since then? So something to help at least.
Grayson Hill
Alright, so it doesn't exist yet. That's a damn shame.
So how about the first point? Additional ship models with working weapons?
Preferably original designs and not star trek
Ayden Allen
get a macro that that left clicks like 10 times every time you press 5 on the numpad
Hunter Evans
New Ship Classes, Realistic Ships and a few others do this. Some skins also exist, like 40k, if you're into that sort of thing.
Benjamin Russell
>Devouring swarm >Cede planet war demands >DELICIOUS POPS >Wait where'd my energy income go >The buildings use power >Deactivated buildings don't make food with delicious pops. >Migrating delicious pops costs influence
Well then. I guess we shouldn't try to make fuckers cede planets until I'm xbox huge empire.
Austin Lewis
Can't you just demolish everything?
Alexander Brown
Please do not bully the Rfitborn.
Jaxon Powell
I could, but it'd be nice to be able to use all those buildings later.
Others could enslave/work pops and buildings, or at least deactivate buildings until the pops die off without having to deconstruct all the prebuilt stuff on the planet.
Christian Perry
They freak out whenever i have a scout ship on their plot for 2 turns. You bully them by default. They get offended by anything.
Cameron King
Deactivate the buildings my man.
Jacob Ortiz
It is like 150 food surplus though, and at least part of the reason to go to war early on as devouring swarm right?
Carson Bailey
What are the best Civ 4 mods? I tried cavemen2cosmos and was underwhelmed. The AI doesn't hunt animals giving you a MASSIVE advantage that the AI just cant come back from.
Samuel Jones
Can someone explain the manpower resource in ES2 for me? I know it can fill ships and be used to invade planets, but what generates it, how exactly does the ship refill of manpower work, and does it do anything else?
Cameron Smith
Fall from Heaven.
Jeremiah Turner
How do you decide on a gameplan with the Horatio? They seem extremely dependent on the types of genes you gt to splice from minor populations around you, and finding these minor factions in general. You cant really take on the big empires early on since you do not have the production for it.
Justin Hernandez
You focus on food and disable Steam updates.
Adrian Baker
>not pirating everything from parajews
Dominic Davis
>Fall from Heaven
Isn't that a preinstalled mod?
Oliver Hill
>Curators say I can beat dimensional horror with my fleet >fleet gets absolutely destroyed >dont even get it to half health cool
Xavier Brown
No, pre-installed mod is a prequel to FfH2.
Josiah Bell
Guess you accidentally role-played as a space russia.
Jeremiah Anderson
Tutorial does a very good job of explaining it. So does the manual. It is generated by a percentage of food production being diverted into military, trough certain improvements directly or by increasing said percentage, and by getting into bed with minors. You spend it to garrison and defendend planets as well as ships for invasion. Ships refill manpower based on a number of conditions - in short they refill best when stationed inside your sphere of influence, over a colonised system.
Liam Howard
Thanks. I am a newfag to 4x games so its sometimes quite a lot to take in

Start game of ES2 planning on expanding and doing science route.
First faction I meet is cravers. They immediately want to murder me.
RIP my plans. We out for blood now.
Robert Russell
What are you, a craverphobe?
Adam Cook
It's like playing Switzerland and getting stuck next to Germany in 1939.
You just know that fuck is up to something.
John Ramirez
Science and murder go hand in hand!
Kevin Walker
I just paid them dust until I won with science in my last Sophon game
Dylan Roberts
I think you have the wrong perception of cravers. They are a peaceful people.
Aaron Ward
Are Vodyani the most "Evil" race of ES2? They seem completely irredeemable regardless of which path you take in the story. Not sure about Cravers.
Jack Jenkins
Should I play EL or ES? Really want to get into the Endless franchise.
Daniel Flores
>Don't worry, we still want to kill you.
Blake Hernandez
Cravers and vodyani are equally shitty
Jack Watson
Space fish pussy is best pussy.
Hudson Campbell
ES1 is meh, tho some enjoy it. EL is the best 4x on the market. ES2 has some fancy new features over EL but far less spit and polish.
Pick your poison.
With Vodyani your extermination will serve a greater purpose, which you might even join, with cravers you are just food.
I don't think you can honestly say that two are equal.
James Davis
>which you might even join Where is this ever said? I've seen people claim it but all I've seen in their quests is that non-vodyani are only good for their essence. I assumed they were just using the essence to put more "flesh" vodyani into suits,
Jacob Myers
Flesh vodyani are all long dead, as is their planet, AFAIK. As to where this is said - read up on Vodyani hero biographies. They are all pretty much "I was a farmer, than vodyani came, now I am Virtua"
Julian Peterson
EL it is then.
David Lee
>Don't be alarmed! We're still hellbent on purging the galaxy of all sentient life
Cameron Phillips
Almost everything has mouse over tooltips.
Don't get too spoiled by how good and efficient the UI is.
Levi Campbell
The first hero you get as the Vodyani is a guy who was regular person whose family was killed in the Vodyani invasion but his spirit was deemed worthy so he got put in a cloth. After the process he was no longer angry about his family and felt desire to serve a greater purpose. Then he kinda got hijacked by a Virtual endless but thats another story. But yes, if you were an exceptional individual you get converted.
Bentley Young
>removed the cbg and rtsg tag Your OP doesn't get the spider seal of approbation.
Angel Sullivan
Is there a reason to believe that The Lost are malicious and we shouldnt bring them back? The once influencing the Unfallen turned them into pretty nice guys, and the Endless ,who slaughtered the Lost and got high off their corpse dust, were known shitheads.
Anthony Martinez
>play several games as Vodyani >"oh okay I think I get how this game works now" >switch to another race >I have no idea how population, outposts, and colonization works >I have to bother with the whims of different populations >Pirates are actually annoying
Help! I never asked for his! Give me my Arks back!
>He plays with pirates on Turn that off and you'll have a better day.
Adrian Turner
>one of them eat you and your family >the other one murder you and your family with a small chance of deleting your memories and trapping your soul into a suit that is directly controllable by the church which forbids any freedom of thought and expression and requires you to mindlessly obey its orders.
They are pretty close. Not sure if I would rather get killed off and eaten or turned into a sockpuppet for a tyrannical church.

How complex is ES2 compared to other games in its genre? Does it have a shitton of systems you need to take care of, and how intuitive are they?
Jeremiah Green
>How complex is ES2 compared to other games in its genre? It's EL with less polish and more features IN SPACE!
>Does it have a shitton of systems you need to take care of, and how intuitive are they? Both of those are arbitrary distinctions, for me - yes on both,
Kayden Morris
Is the lore of EL, ES1, and ES2 connected? There seem to be some similarities but not everything adds up.
Brody Davis
ES1 is more or less retconned. EL takes place before ES2, but after Dungeon of the Endless.

Why would any idependent species bring into existance a power known only for their godlike power? I mean someone being on the losing side of a galactic struggle might do so as an act of desperation, but otherwise no one would want to open a can of worms big enough to consume them, no matter how warm and fuzzy those worms appear to be.
