anything with a K20 engine

Civic Si 2006-2011
RSX Type S

dunno your definition of affordable but those are cheapest I think

rotary

I already knew those

Is it just those?

>mfw 1700 rpm redline
>mfw 750 hp naturaly aspirated

Used NASCAR.

most hondas

punto with a simple stage 1 tune

Porsches, ///m cars

Last gen Cellica gts
Toyota Matrix and Pontiac vibe with same engine

S2000

Almost every motorcycle.

Bikes > cars for revs

RX-8
all versions rev over 8000 rpm, JDM spirit-R versions up to like 9500 rpm
Most late 4A-GE equiped toyotas
1JZ can take 8000 rpm as well with limiter removed (as well as rdidculous amounts of boost)
Basicly all DOHC hondas
Trabant 601 (although not recomended)

Affordable Porsches like the transaxle porsches don´t actualy rev high due to their 100 mm (~4") stroke.

Sounds like you need a motorcycle.

Almost anything 2-stroke due to the lack of a valvetrain.
pic semi related, made 74,6 kW/l (about 100 hp/L)in the 60s naturaly aspirated.

*in east germany

No one cares, commie

my jdm sti does
FeelsGoodMan

I´m not a commie, but that is just the most beautifull 2-stroke powered car there is.

I'll let it slide this time my pinko friend

what's affordable?

gonna add the mustang gt350

To be fair, Melkus himself didn´t like the communists either.
Also:
>680kg
>mid engine
>rwd
>topspeed of 210 km/h

That car was no joke in the 60s especialy for a home made car based on a 992 ccm inline 3 engine

I'm honestly surprised he was not shot in the public square for capitalist acts of treason

Buy a diesel

e46 m3

E60 M5
That 8300rpm V10 wail
youtube.com/watch?v=Ghg6jIaibrI&app=desktop

MR2 with a built 4age.

>6km turn radius

Mazda RX-8, although that's only affordable to buy, not to maintain

e46 m3

Ferrari Mondials are fairly cheap, have 8k+ redline in a 3 litre V8. E9X Series M3s also have a 4 litre V8 with a 8,200rpm redline, they're not too expensive now either the early ones.

holy fuck

-1000lbs is exactly what an s85 needs

checked, e92 m3s are quite easily obtainable these days, desu. just check those rod bearings with an OCI ffs.

100% man, legit what makes me apprehensive about buying one, hear the 2010 onwards LCI one arent as bad tho but then there's almost none that come in manual.

S2000

EJ207 is 8000rpm, sorting cams and balancing internals 9000+ is possible

Cappuccino-chan!

Possible, but not reliable. Unless you don't mind rebuild intervals shorter than most rotaries...

>hot oil shower

Damn, I want a cappucino so badly. Too bad it's rare as fuck to find.

im planning on importing once i procure the time and money needed to import a fucking car into the US, wish me luck senpai... they look so fun

V6 Mustang with a Tune.

Those cars are like 13-20k, hardly affordable faggot

E85/6 Z4M

My rx8 stops at 9.5k

Should i be concerned

In the US you can get an imported Honda Beat for about 7k and they rev over 8k

>transaxle porsche
>affordable
They don't work this way.
What you don't pay for car, you pay for parts that fuck up on weekly basis.
There is no cheap porsche.

>13-20k
>hardly affordable

Wow you must be an absolute embarrassment to your family and country if 13k is not affordable

Wow okay Mr.Richchad over here, because everyone can afford to spend thousands of dollars a year maintaining a whorebadge brand

13-20k is basic econobox money.

If you take out a loan, maybe

Not everyone is a fucking moron that wants to finance a car

>implying a jacket won't fix this and allow you to enjoy that part of the experience

RX8 Life

It's a known issue that that tach gets a little optimistic under hard acceleration. Fuel cutoff is 9000 and peak power is at 8800. There's a guy who hit 10k rpm on the freeway but again it's just the tach getting inaccurate under acceleration. Should be normal

I would avoid getting an 8k redline-car if that's too pricey.

>faggot
I fuk ur mom

>be me
>check local rx7s and rx8s
>95% are broken down project cars
>Remaining 5%'s like "no boost, prob ez fix, no lowballers"

Feels bad man.

yeah something that totally loses 50% value over the course of ownership. econobox

My 97 Celica has an 8k redline

>affordable af
>slow af

Apparently destroked 350s made into 302s can handle 8k easy, and some have gone 9000+

youtu.be/OZDAHMPmIAk

follow-up, here's a NASCAR SBC that made 9300
youtu.be/OBbE8qhfVG4

>oh another tripfag I shouldn't pay attention to ever

any engine can do that
but they don't make any more power than normal

Rotary engines are a meme.

A Corolla

An oil tanker
toyotaproblems.com/trends/excessive-oil-consumption/

Doesn't apply to the 2zz engine

if you're in the US they're pretty easy to find... a couple in my local craigslist

>a tripfaggot saying something stupid
wow what a surprise

WRONG FAGGOT THE 2ZZ IS THE WORST OFFENDER What the fuck were you trying to do there? hahaha

8500 rpm redline

>b-b-b-but look the 2zz is in this car tooo
Holy fuck you're both stupid and needy.

a rental car...

rx8 highest redline gang shit

Wrong.
Did a Toyota run over your dog our something?

>these delusional retards and their toys
google it since you need a basic introduction
google.ca/search?dcr=0&q=2zzge oil consuption

You're so stupid you don't realize it's common knowledge that all zz engines burn oil, especially the high revving 2zz but only the 1zz was reclled because they make up 90% of all zz engines sold. How does it feel to be so triggered, yet so ill equipped to discuss your own fanboi shit compared to some random user?

Uuuhhh, that's the 1MZ-FE, and I have that engine in my avalon. Literally nothing wrong on it ever with it's entire life, 110k miles.

Where the fuck did you get 1MZ from now? Yeah it's a sludge monster that had recalls of it's own, but you're mad confused bc no one was talking about the 1mz, that's a fucking V6 in case you didnt know.

>How does it feel to be so triggered
Why don't you tell us?

I 'm literally skeeting ropes of facts all over your face dude and you're just kneeling there helpless like a bitch and taking it.

dude if you can't afford a 13k car and you live in a 1st world country this guy isn't rich you're poor.

oh shit I just assumed itw as the sludge thing, I'm drunk on a friday man my bad kek

Nice evidence, you can search any engine + oil consumption. It doesn't matter how many were sold, if it was a problem they would be recalled.

Debatable. Buy one with a blown motor for like 1k. Then swap in a rebuild with 2mm apex seal for like 4k. Add 2stroke oil metering swap for idk 200 tops. Then just dont be a retard and turn it off before its warm and your solid. This is what im planning to do when my current car shits the bed in a few years.

I guess Civics are only for rich people.

MRS is 7500. It can be modded to do 10k redline.
2zz swap it with a jack, 10mm socket and a screwdriver and you'll have 8.4k

Use OEM Mazda seals only, 2mm seals chatter and fuck your housings.

...

>modded
haha plebeian
>engine swap for 900rpm more
Sucks to be you
Why I don't fuck with shityotas

Show us where the bad Toyota touched you user

you sound mad.
Did an MRS BTFO your bimmer on the stoplight?
Did an mrs BTFO your muscle in the twisties?
Are you mad because your crush thought it was cute?

Sperged

And how much does that car cost to maintain each year? Exactly fucking retard get out you probably don't even own a car let alone have a license

Bad troll or hilariously retarded.

>stupid and needy
the 2zz is in the elise, it's redline is 8500rpm, it's affordable. what the fuck is stupid and needy about that???

It's just a troll m8

sand in vagina

if you do the clutch and timing belt over the weekend when you first get the car and buy a shitty one for parts you can get into a 944 for less than 10k and run it cheap for a long long time. they are super reliable if maintained, like all porsches

>doesnt understand finance
enjoy your static economic position
