People already know youre a faggot so just get whatever you want.

fpbp

just don't give a shit what some insecure, dicklet, trailer trash, fucktard thinks. buy & drive whatever makes you happy

you're already a faggot for caring about what other people say

JIMNY A CUTE
I
M
N
Y

The Jimny is adorable though, so it's worth people questioning your heterosexuality

Wait for the next gen, it's gonna be even more boxy and adorable

I want one

WHAT THE FUCK

THE OLD JIMNY LOOKS A FUCKTON NEWER THAN THE NOT EVEN RELEASED ONE

Isn't it great? It's like a little baby G-Class.

>Twice as wide
>IFS
>IRS

No fucking point buying a new Jimny anymore. They got tons of those CuckUVs out there already.

>a compact suv

yes

>a jimny

no, because it is an amazing offroad vehicle

Perspective fucks up its dimensions a bit, it's still a tiny SUV and it'll still be body-on-frame.

And it's still 2-doors only.

Thank Suzuki for sticking to the guns and not going all cucked up like Jeep or Mercedes.

lmao, the prototype even has a Jimny escort

>*notices bulge*

OwO w-what's this?

only if it's a fwd crossover

>Offset rear diff

D-does this mean solid front too?

I can't see clearly enough

I don't imagine they would change what works.

>a jimny
>an amazing offroad vehicle
This.
They look like some tiny toy thing, but they are amazing at climbing over stupid shit.
The downside being they are not all that pleasant to drive on the road. (subjective.txt)

the jimny has to adhere to the kei car size limits so it will be exactly the same size as the old one.

>not getting the superior compact suv
truly a faggot

Turns out the jdm tyte yo kei version uses a narrower track and smaller bumpers to fit in the size regs
Pretty cute imho

Also: all Jimnys I see on the road are brand new and used by women in their 60s and 70s to go shopping. Weird, but good news if you're looking for a used one

Honest opinions on this?

a big more luxurious jimny

Shitty brakes.

Literally falling apart.

Not at all. That is a fwd compact crossover that has 4" of ground clearance.

My Dad's telling me to go for this over a Honda CR-V as it's cheaper + looks better... is he right?

Drivetrain is horrible on those.

You'll never get rid of vibrations.

Engine is passable but barely, very rough at higher rpms.

Real pity since it has the right looks and suspension is pretty good.

Why do you think you need a raised hatchback?

Have twins on the way, need space in the back + good safety + comfort for long journeys.

I'm guessing I need something like this, but if there's other options please let me know... I'm way out of my depth looking at these sorts of cars, I'm used to looking at shitty 3 door sport hatchbacks.

They made a number of changer and improvements to the diffs and driveshafts to reduce noise and vibration in recent years. At least on the models exported to europe. Rust protection was improved, too.

And prices start at ~€12k, at least in germany

dude just get a skoda octavia. Better than a small SUV in EVERY mesurable regard.

The combi/station wagon version? I'm considering that as well. Isn't it just a golf though? And the superb is a Passat?

Reason being, I can get a VW Passat station wagon/kombi for much cheaper than a superb in my country... don't know why that is

My bad I thought it was the grand vitara

The Octavia is essentially a lenghtened Golf plattform. That way it combines compact car running costs with midsize car space.
The Superb is a longer Passat and pretty much the size of an A6.

The important bit is interior space. Those compact SUVs you want to buy are no more spacious than any Golf/Focus/whatever, they're just larger on the outside.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure if the golf/octavia were pretty much the same size, but that clears it up for me.

Is there anything comparable to an octavia on the market? I'd love to know so I can get a comparison.

I'm not a fan of this 'Little' SUV bullshit either, I just assumed they were made for families with good boot space... and the interiors do look comfy. Surely there's one on the market that matches that? I'm guessing it would be out my budget (max 28k euro) though?

(Not the guy you're replying to)
Are you dense?

Just do some basic research you mong. Like any other adult person would.

Also how would raising a hatchback by 5cm result in more interior space? Stop believing in marketing memes.

>I thought it was

You are right in that regard. As in was. Past tense.

>I'm not a fan of this 'Little' SUV bullshit either

The Jimny is more of a little offroader than a little SUV. It is great offroad and acceptable in tight little country towns but if you want to have a good offroader you are going to have a shit road car.

I haven't lived in Europe for a while but the Octavia is one of the few in its league. If you want a family wagon and don't care about stigma you can check out those family wagons like the Vauxhall zafira. If it is anything like an American minivan it would be some of the comfiest shit you have ever been cucked in.

Opel Zafira... I can't mate, I'm only fucking 26. It's just too much cuckoldry, I don't want the missus leaving me for a nigger.

I've just done a quick search, what about the Mazda 6 in the kombi/estate/station wagon? It's the only one in its class that doesn't look like I'm locked up in a chastity belt and driving to pick my wife up from Jamal's place.

Mazda 6, Opel Insignia, Volvo V60, Ford Mondeo or the old standby VW Passat, they're all fine when under warranty and I assume you're buying new.
I also really like what Peugeot did with the 508.

From my grandma, 77, who got one:
"I like them because you don't have to bend down to get in".

Same reason old people bought the nissan cube.

huh makes sense.
But aren't there tons of other raised cars that are more practical and comfortable for that?
Granneis probably just have a much better taste in cars than I give them credit for

Anyway you already called dibs on that shit once she gives up driving right?

Holy tucking shit, the sound this makes when the doors close is unbelievable

>And prices start at ~€12k
Dude why? They start at 400 000 rubles(6k €) new in Russia. Why they cost so much in your country,Fritz?

any of you guys have an old Samurai/Jimny? any tips for a beginner? I just love how it looks

We need the newer Jimny in the US... all the old examples are pretty beat to shit, and I don't think I've ever driven in another car that felt more like a tin can than a Samurai.

>all the old examples are pretty beat to shit
Not quite. If you look hard enough, you can still find unmolested examples.

Not him but it's the joys of being in the EU.
Also gas is extremely expensive compared to Russia, almost 3x as much.

this
Lada Nivas are amazing. Maybe they are not as reliable, as other (western) offroaders, but they are cheap, easy to fix, and have lots of cheap spare parts

Plus, the Urban version (pic) looks really good imo

I'd call you a faggot if you got a fuckhueg suv
