It's great. Start with IS since it's the first game, EP hasn't been translated but a fan translation is being worked on so it should be ready by the end of 2017.

Both P2 games are pretty solid, but they're basically just mainline SMT titles. If your main attraction to Persona is the daily life shit that sets it apart as a franchise these days, you'll be disappointed. If you just want a solid JRPG then P2 is probably worth your time.
