Do you play solo, duo or squads? Solos are by far the easiest to win.
I've had this game for 5 hours and managed to win twice. Only finished outside of the top 10 a few times. All I do is head for the center of the map and hide in a bathroom.
Is this what it boils down to if you want to win? It's more fun to eject with a large group, but way more risky.

What makes solos so easy is that when you kill someone their friend won't fire back at you and can't revive him either.
Boils down to putting yourself in the best position taking into account the risks of rng circles. The less you are forced to move, the better your chances
I do best in solos but I always die at the end. I'm not the best shot and my internet/rig isn't so good. I do what I can but its frustrating. Maybe I'm just too old for shootyman games.

Mid 30s. I try not to get into fights if I can but sometimes I wind up face to face with someone and I just lag reflex wise, or I flat out can't shoot for shit. It's not like I haven't been playing FPS games since the early 90s or anything, I think I'm just permabad.

Most of the time, it's a myth. I'm 34 and I'm consistently better than 99% in any fps I'm playing. Keeping with the rest 1% requires investing ungodly amounts of time though, and possibly those "young reflexes". The time and motivation is always a problem, so I'll probably never know if it's true.

RTS have existed for 3 decades now. And besides, they're measuring reaction time, not something complex like using hotkeys on a certain ability after ambushing a secondary enemy base

anyway, my point was that at 30+ you can have a huge advantage at abstract learning methodology and consistency, so you're able to improve much faster and with no bullshit if you're motivated enough. (which is usually a problem) Especially if you are playing from the young age and have plenty of experience. You might not be able to get into the very top though, it requires talent and time.
Still, just make it a big red button you have to press on prompt to avoid any interferences

But I can also read people and figure out what they're going to do and why they're going to do it and manipulate situations. So lets say, 1st bullet does 20 damage from a pistol or whatever, 2nd bullet does 15 or 20% more so more or less 23, 24 damage, 3rd bullet does another 15 or 20% more damage from previous so its 28 more or less, etc..
Maybe, in your case, make it that headshots are instant kills if hes downed and that shots from snipers are as well
