I myself play both games.
Both games have their own charm. I like how fast paced yugioh can be, it really gets the cogs in my head turning, and i love how satisfying it is when you slap your opponent with a nice combo. I Like that magic is slightly slower and more methodical, more relaxing to play for me, and the card art is generally gorgeous.
But for me its the crowd where the real difference lies. My local magic place is very friendly and full of people of all ages right from very young kids to elderly people who have been at the game for years, and everyone is welcoming and happy to teach newcomers (of which there is a constant flow of). Its a pleasant atmosphere.
But where my local yugioh happens is just a small room filled mostly with teenagers or twentysomethings, many being unfit, angst filled, pothead weeaboos. The place smells pretty bad. Yet despite all of it I love it more than anything. Just cunts slapping each others waifu cards with the nastiest moves they can and having fun, all in full knowledge that their beloved game is continuing its spiral downward and is unlikely to ever stop, but still soldiering on with what they love and having fun despite what others might think. Fast cards. Fast games. Fast lives.
This shit is what I live for.

Should I get 1p or 2p, and what design should i put on it? Can I completely cover the mat or does it have to be a png image with no background? I kinda want master peace and fluffal bear, but I heard they can't print in white so master piss would be gross looking.

the monsters are just put off to the side and there's too much empty space, cloth mats don't really fit coloured art
some official mats like 99% of sneak peek mats look like shit but there's some really nice designs that they've made

Cut two monsters and throw in two more copies of Armed Dragon LV3 if you want to call it an Armed Dragon deck.

The empty space is where your cards go dingus.

Also you can choose to put the art wherever you want, that's why it's custom. If the guy wanted he could have added more monsters in the middle like the edge imps, or maybe a big polymerization graphic or something to emphasize the change from fluffal to frightfur.

What is/are the Chase card(s) for Code of the Duelist (Excluding TCG exclusives)

2:Is Link summoning good/viable? Watched episode 2 and it seemed alright.

3: Do you see Cyberse getting good monster type support and archetype support? I kinda wanna main them and I've been feeling weird about Machines lately.

firewall dragon, missus radiant and the spellbook will be the main ones. the trickstar cards are anime cards which are usually low rarity but KoA could rarity bump them. breakoff trap hole and heavy dust storm have potential and could be a decent investment

Not so sure about Firewall. Missus and Spellbook only if they are Secret, which the Spellbook one has more of a chance.

Seeing as the Star Boy retrain is in the next set, then we can safely assume Hoshiningen, Little Chimera, Witch's Apprentice and Bladefly will be in the upcoming sets individually. I don't think it will cost much.

To me, the Vrains era/Link Summoning hasn't proved itself. StarGrails aren't doing anything in the OCG and neither will ExCrawlers in my opinion.

Main deck centric decks are going to be more meta than the two mentioned link decks. And I think that is what Konami is trying to push.

i'm building stargrails irl because i like playing shitty combo decks at locals and the art is nice, the main things holding the deck back are the link toolbox isnt that good at the moment and the deck literally cannot get over master peace

firewall is fucking busted, i can see it being like crystal wing which was really cheap at release but it spiking really hard once we get something that can abuse it, and we will. its the cover card and the protag's main card so its basically a guaranteed secret too

I think he means they can miss timing because they are "When... You can" effects.

Check this ruling. Ancient Forest has an effect that activates when the card is activated, and it doesn't activate if activated from the deck by Demise of the Land.
