Are Reachers supposed to not be on the military attack list? I can't even see it.

I did several tests to see who was the strongest race between minotaurs, trolls, yetis and sasquatch. Each test consists of 18 sets, in each one of those sets a hundred members of one race will fight a hundred members of another race in individual combat, also, in each set the fighters will have different skills and/or equipment. Also, I removed the natural skills of the minotaurs to compare them better with the other races, if they had their natural skills they would have just wiped the floor with every opponent.

If you just want to know who's the strongest then here is the ranking: Minotaurs > Yetis = Sasquatch(physically they are the same, same attributes, same body parts, same size, etc. look at the raws if you want to check it yourself) > Trolls.

Dwarves are made of noodles, along with everyone else.

I have an odd issue of dwarves not storing plump helmets in barrels/pots in my main stockpile. Not at my computer at the moment so I can't post screen shots.

I have a feeder style set up. The first food stock pile only accepts food that is grown next to it (also accepts eggs), no barrels (keeps the farmers farming) and accepts items from anywhere.
The second stockpile accepts pretty much all food but from links only.
The first stock pile is giving items to the second. The dwarves are moving it across no issue but won't store plump helmets in the god damn barrels/pot. Other plants and eggs that are being moved across are being put into pots and barrels.

Any idea on what ia going on?

20z lead floor with retracting spikes (linked to those two pressure plates by the meeting hall doors) , there's a ladder that goes all the way up in case gobos wanna try again. The walls are smoothed all the way down to prevent climbers from avoiding their imminent explosion.

I don't hate it, the design is nice and the tileset is ok. But I dislike the lazy defenses of trap spam, and I really dislike the whole concept of single-purpose z-level sprawl. I mean, your embark probably has 100+z, why pack all your housing or workshops or stockpiles or whatever into one level?

not sure if this is any help but I gave up the first time trying to learn this game and actually learned it a year later watching a funny youtube man stream it. he played the game horribly, but I git the basics from him and used the wiki sparingly when I was totally lost, somehow found that easier.
