(Not sure if this is how to reply to a previous thread) I tried disabling both Vigor and Locational damage but I still crash on timed block. I might try start a new game and see if timed blocking is still an issue, I did install many big mods at different points in this playthrough. The latest mods I installed was Pit Fighter quest mods but I think that just allowed me to see the problem because I was always in combat

And yet there are dozens.
My blog used to be in the OP just for you. demwaifus.blogspot.com/search/label/Oblivion Has mostly everything waifu related but I never went into detail on how to make a character there, I do that stuff real-time here, if you want to learn what you need to do.
TIE is dope but ti's basically balanced around specific gameplay builds. Namely sneaky dickweeds who want the game to feel more deadly, or realistic depending on your viewpoint.
>There aren't many recent race mods that are up to scratch Man what? There are tons. Nice write up though, you only forgot to mention CCC which has most of the hair mods, and the many other races which are understandable omitted. Even I don't list them all. As for TIE you would hear about it a lot around its time of release but since Skyrim came out Oblivion modding is an obscure subject.
Lock on? I didn't know OR had that option, perhaps you're using a lock-on mod? There are a couple that do it but I thought they were nippon only.
There's a guy here that was downloading all of the Nexus Skyrim mods and he mentioned that even if a mod is hidden, he can get the files. Maybe try to contact him. I forget who it was sorry.

It may seem disappointing, but those crossbows are really just remeshes of the staff and use its animations, and it all just looks really ugly.
I fixed my problem. Ultimate Combat's timed block was clashing with Ordinator's timed block (perk) causing a crash so I set Ultimate Combat's timed block to 0 seconds and there's no longer an issue. Just thought I'd let you know for the future.

Oblivion newfag back again, got this bullshit actually loading again. DarN just had me overwrite a magic menu or something, and now I'm vaguely remembering some other mod saying to have that overwrite that menu, but I'm not even sure if I'm still using whatever that was. Also someone said the vampire fix was in bash, but I'm not seeing it anywhere in the extra options.
Hopefully this looks better than last time, anything I should dump, did I miss a patch for something, and what do I still need to cover?
ah fuck, I am trying to take a screenshot in morrowind to get a picture of a font related problem I have, and I can't even do that because for some reason even after enabling screenshots in both the ini and mgegui I still can't get the game to take screenshots
Jose Watson
>but I'm not seeing it anywhere in the extra options. It's in one of the options checked automatically.
That list is looking pretty damn nostalgic to me but there are some things wrong.
1. You only needed cobl main.esm, the entire rest of the mod isn't needed for what you wanted. 2. RAEVWD sux. I know you said you liked LOD but eh. 3.Make sure you tweak Enhanced Grabbing and QZ Easy Menus .ini files. 4. CameraCommands.dll if I'm not mistaken is deprecated when using Oblivion Reloaded. Look into that. 5. Pretty sure there are some more Immersive Interiors plugins, search for them on the nexus using that term. 6. nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45666/ may or may not be better than the QTP3 you have there, those file names seem old.
and finally what RTNM packages are you using? I really think the landscape one looked bad for the most part.
Adam Perry
Whatever.

Okay. 1,5. Done/got it/ect 2. Any other options? 3. Grabbed your QZ .ini, I'll look into the other one 4. I'll check, it was listed in the requirements for the 3rd person camera, and I spend most of my time in that mode 6. Using that one And All of them, but I'll go ditch the landscape textures.

>2. Any other options? Being ok with bad lod. I used to manually delete things like distant rocks which would save me a few FPS. You can use it but I wouldn't personally! >3. Grabbed your QZ .ini, I'll look into the other one I turn off some of the things in PiiiP like the noise maker stuff but going through the readme and .ini is a good way to learn what the mod does. >4. I'll check, it was listed in the requirements for the 3rd person camera, and I spend most of my time in that mode Yeah I know, let me know if you don't need it. I'm pretty sure you don't but I'm not sure. >And All of them, but I'll go ditch the landscape textures. Don't ditch them if you don't dislike them! Some people do like them just not me. Just keep in mind that the mod is making everything bumpy(ie noisy, you'll get more aliasing) as fuck. So if something looks so bumpy it's dumb, remove it.

I'll see how it looks without LOD, haven't generated it yet anyway so that's less effort for me. And I'll just keep an eye out for normal maps that stick out.
So, so far so good then, thanks for your help. /fog/ is really hit or miss on if you'll get any help for NV, and for 4 you typically get "no, the game still isn't good" or something.
You don't like knifejaws?
Alexander Sanders
>triggered /pol/cuck
Carson Jenkins
Oh, so with .inis, I just realized, it must have been mentioned earlier, there's no MCM sort of deal? Seems weird since all the good Fallout stuff was just ported from TES stuff.
Josiah Fisher
Elder scrolls online's mediocre design ruined every exotic province we were yet to see. Unless they asspull say that "it was Coldharbour ALL ALONG" there's no way to redeem them.
Akavir remains unsullied. Or they could just stop the linearity of the games being a rule and make it about second/first era wars.
Jeremiah Wood
I always hated /fog/, those guys seem like total idiots when it came to mods. Not once did I get good mod support and I was there for months modding the fuck out of the game. I even broke into that old vgun site to get rare mods and had some old files from LODA but literally nobody cared. It all really rustled me.
Not all of the good stuff. Gopher and the other modern programming nerds weren't around in Oblivion days. The only real-time editors are for OBGE or OR. Some mods do have an in-game menu(like Cobl) but they're pretty cumbersome unlike MCM and the graphics mods menus.
Andrew Rogers
it will most likely be in Valenwood. Hammerfell on the other hand is definitely not happening. It's already independent and couldn't feature the conflict between the Aldimeri Dominion and the Empire.
Chase Jones
The conflict between the Dominion and the Empire is not even really important. It could just be about Hamerfell shenanigans like pirates, mind swords, and splitting the atom.
Nathan Smith
>the conflict between the Aldimeri Dominion and the Empire. yeah because bethesda totally can't make a huge time gap making that war irrelevant.
Elijah Thomas
>It's already independent and couldn't feature the conflict between the Aldimeri Dominion and the Empire. What does that have to do with anything?
Zachary Taylor
>It's already independent and couldn't feature the conflict between the Aldimeri Dominion and the Empire.
The empire covertly supports hammerfell, and IIRC, the dominion isn't too happy about hammerfell being independent. It could easily feature that conflict if they wanted to keep it relevant.
Blake Nguyen
There are a number of hints in skyrim that indicate that Hammerfell is next and there are plenty of ways the Empire can get involved, especially covertly, with the Hammerfell-Dominion conflict.
Hell you'd only need a few years timeskip to make it reasonable that shit has escalated.
Bentley Garcia
Try to ignore it.
Every game in the series has different interpretations and representation of Tamriel. From the scale of the provinces to the environment to the racial aesthetics and armor design.
Brandon James
Is there any way to just replace the vanilla hairstyles with hairs from some mod completely? I'm sick of seeing the awful vanilla hair on even modded NPCs.
Kayden Williams
yes use the CK
Samuel Cox
MCM only really works with DarN anyway, and the new big thing is Vanilla UI Plus. Bigger font, but you don't have to install DarN and another UI mod in the exact correct order (even with MO) along with any other mod that touches the UI. So all the text overlaps, but it doesn't take me two days to go back and uninstall and reinstall every UI mod to update a single one, and then try to find the magic install order. But yeah there seem to be some new big players in NV modding now, with Lutana and JIP merging.
Dylan Clark
I can't into CK but I guess I can find a tutorial somewhere, I doubt I'm the first person to do this
Noah Peterson
I want to create a cute witch girl with a passion for magic that she has only just discovered. I'm trying to think of a lore-friendly reason that she didn't have any experience with magic whatsoever until early adulthood, when she came to Skyrim.
Joshua Smith
She was a slave and wasn't allowed to read shit.
Lincoln Murphy
Yes you can. You literally just fire it up, load Skyrim.esm, change the hair parts, then save.
Sounds lovely. all that UI modding for NV was nightmare inducing. Oblivion isn't nearly as bad though you can fuck your game up in similar fashion.
David Hill

Thomas Johnson
It'll hopefully be set in either Valenwood or Hammerfell. But they really need to do those provinces justice. I want my walking tree cities and cannibalistic wood elves, and large open hunting plains. Hammerfell needs some sick mountains and rocky passages I can slice away with a scimitar or something. Ancient ruins hidden beneath the mystic sands that only reveal themselves during specific times, only to be re-buried for another thousand years again (or 7 ingame days to balance it out).
Just make the provinces as they've been told they look like and described. Don't go making some generic woodland area and call it Cyrodiil when it was supposed to be a jungle, right? Unless that was some ancient lore thing they retconned.
Brandon Carter
The problem I found with TIE is that it unbalance others mod equipement. And I already rebalanced combat with other mods. Does someone tried to remove the weapons and armor stats edits to only keep the unlevelling and world edit of it?
Ayden Ross
>Maybe she was REALLY sheltered by her parents, and finally ran away? I guess that could be the case if her parents are really dumb superstitious Nords.
Or maybe she's a Redguard? They hate magic there.
If she's from High Rock then not knowing any magic is not lore friendly. Same if she's an Altmer.
I guess if you're playing a non-mage Dunmer her parents could be orthodox Redoran warriors that didn't bother teaching her magic.
Alexander Ortiz
my roommate play le epic rag n bone man

>walking tree cities Trees stopped moving eras ago.
>cannibalistic wood elves Only inner circles still uphold the pact. Most abandoned it.
>Ancient ruins hidden beneath the mystic sands that only reveal themselves during specific times, only to be re-buried for another thousand years again Shifting sands is an Elsweyr thing.
Leo Edwards
Well one of the reasons people downloaded it was because it did that. I dunno how to remove that edit, maybe it's as simple as deleting an edit to the global setting?
Nolan Walker
you have some nice elves there, it would be ashamed if a pack of redguards assaulted them with their curved swords
Carson Barnes
We get it Niko, you exist.
Ayden Torres
Well, we can maybe restart the walking trees thing because it'd make for a more fantastical and unique environment. Upper circles thing could be a cool quest to allow the protag into their little group. Shifting sands? Well, let's just make a expansion pack set in Elsweyr then. Or one set in Summerset Isles where you get to fly those energy-sun-roc transport things.
Joshua Moore
It'll work just by opening it on xEdit and deleting the Armor and Weapons group. I'm looking at it.
Connor Brown
fuck off you retard with your ugly trash waifus fuck off retard fuck off kill yourself
Jaxson Barnes
I got mixed replies on Oblivion Reloaded. Does it increases or decreases stability with a properly setup ini? Is it better or worse than OBGE?
David Rodriguez
>Well, we can maybe restart the walking trees thing because it'd make for a more fantastical and unique environment. That will never happen senpai. It's like expecting Snow Whales to appear in Skyrim. Imagine coding moving platforms.
>Upper circles thing could be a cool quest to allow the protag into their little group Only if you're playing as a Bosmer. Otherwise no. Wildhunt is a Bosmer exclusive thing.
Chase Foster

From my experience it decreases it. The author apparently will argue otherwise but it's clear he's kind of retarded so.
OBGE has better visuals, OR has more stuff.
