The way ineed claimed to work was what I was looking for, hunger and thirst still having effect and needing to be fulfilled, but after contracting the vamps, I would have to hunt humans rather than animals at camp, I enjoyed playing the idea of a lone vampire camping in the wilderness, gone from setting up camp and hunting deer for the nights meal, to hunting for bandits and travellers at night for my meal.

I mean, if I was a mage, I'd want still want to have the thickest piece of metal possible between me and anyone else in combat.

Magic don't work as good when you're armored for some reason. Some mages do wear it though.

Currently the only penalty I can think of is the alteration armor spells not working if you're armored.

The included patch for OOO in latest COBL version is for OOO 1.32 - is that still necessary if I use OOO 1.40 and OOO Extended? I suppose I'm just worried it'll interfere with the changes made by the newer versions.

I could never find a moment where I'd use a Ward instead of just blasting them to bits. It's a shame, I've always wanted to make use of them.
