Also: temperature increases when slowing down from 100 mph to 60 mph for some weird reason.
coolant temperature stays constant at 83-84 °C

From memory.

DON'T SAY THOSE WORDS, I'VE BEEN LUCKY SO FAR

Forgot to talk shit

90 degree sauna doesn't seem too bad desu

Here's the heater controls on my motorcycle

It is on any longer trip, I mainly leave the AC off completely.

>sitting there for 2 min changing the temp from full hot to full cold

baka desu

>not riding hands free
>not warming hands on cylinder

neat. At least it doesn't break all the time.

woops, lots of white space. Guess car.

One of my least favourite parts about the car

I got heated grips on my last motorcycle, and I've been riding in cold weather ever since I got it three weeks ago.

Problems is, the inside of you hands are hot as fuck, bit the outside gets cooled constantly, and is therefore still freezing.

Bonus: where I had them set last time I was driving.

ah, my navigator has the same console

Even fancy top of the line Mark VIIIs had the same HVAC controls and radio options.

Jeep XJ?
The cause for that may be the reduction of airflow coming into the cabin from the intake duct at the base of the windshield.

>Waiting for all those sensors to fail

Can confirm its actual shit drove shit Ford taurus windshield always fuckin fogged unless it was 80+ degrees outside, inside it either barely functioned or at max would be bullshit turn down then turn back up in a couple miles. Glad that car rektd itself.

Who here /no compressor?

Get wind protectors for your handlebars and/or winter gloves.

>rains
>defroster does fuckall with no compressor and all my windows fog up to fuck
I hate it

Handguards look like shit, and I'm already using thick winter motocycle gloves with a regular fleece glove underneath.

I have a switch to control the hot/cold flap's motor, so how hot it gets depends mostly on how much time you keep it in "hot".
I usually leave it at full hot in the winter and regulate the temperature with the outlet and fan speed.

I swear to god level 4 fans on my Focus sounds like there are 20 drones taking flight in my car and it's louder than road noise and music combined

Sounds like you're just a pussy then.

Older cars have more performance for the price. Wow! What an astounding concept! It's not like some people want new cars too or anything, right?

>if A/C is off*

wow I bet absolutely nobody could guess this

Is this your car user?

used to have a 740. Indeed it spat chunks of black foam stuff at my face at full fan speed

also, full heat was a real sauna
along with the butt-warmers it was the comfiest winter car

Yes, I miss u 740. Bought a 940 but the dial temp control is just not the same

Nope, try again

I was going to participate but you already did mine for me. Have this unit in my explorer. Still works right despite 183k

I'll save you the trouble
>hot
>warm
Air doesn't come out of any vents except the ones at my hands, none of the defrosting settings work, doesn't blow out the window, A/C hasn't worked for years

Cannot draw, but this sums it up

Heat is either off or full on. Modulate temperature by adjusting window opening.

>For the love of god dont ever go full HOT
I've heard legends about the heaters in 240s. When did Volvos get their famed ability to blow hot air through the vents AND dashboard that apparently no other car bothers to do, with the 700 series?

700 does that
900 as well

I have some HVAC work to do.

guess away lads

toyota? idk lol

CRX!

Wonders of AC-less Corolla

Air cooled VW. Two levers on floor. One controls the amount of hot air directed into the cabin. The other regulates the amount of exhaust you'd like mixed in with that.
