He shields up at X0%. Make sure to power him down to 99% via debuffs then make sure he nevers lands on X0% for the rest of the fight.

He has extremely high defence until certain hp breakpoints, and flips it back on and off. It's best if you can just get him to a low armor point through neutral damage or summons, then dump everything you have on him.
