Because Jack the Ripper is not only the best assassin in the game, she is also one of the strongest servants in the game. Especially her Noble Phantasm which is spammable, and does fucktons of damage, and then some to women. Even if she can't use her NP on that turn she can throw out criticals like crazy. She's an offensive powerhouse.

I just wanted to say thank you to the person who gave me the Gil account posted in the previous thread. After nearly 5 days of non-stop reroll and Atalanta/Altera spooks I'm finally saved. For the time being my tears will cease to lube up Kirei's dick but hopefully not for long I assume, despair is part of the TRUE fgo experience amirite anons? Ahhh having the original golden fuccboi berate me and call me mongrel is fucking music to my ears.

If you are planning on ascending someone a 3rd time expect something like this at the end

Illya is honestly pretty bad. She's has a bizarre mishmash of skills (she gets a +Buster damage skill even though she only has one Buster card not including her NP). Her NP does medium damage and increases her Buster damage but comes with a nasty debuff (-10% damage and defense for 3 turns).

So she has poor damage, poor support, poor survivability, and an awkward skillset. She doesn't pair well with any particular team make up. She was the worst 5* caster in the game (people generally put her on the same level as Medea who is only 3*). Though since Scheherazade was recently released and is even worse than Illya (she's down with the 2* casters) Illya no longer has the distinction of being the worst 5* Caster, just second worst.

How is the end of Gil event going to work?

Two years into the game her only rival for the honor of best 4* assassin is Carmilla.
