Finally got back into CoC again after a several month break, and I've confirmed that exclusively playing ironmeme for a while has made non-ironmeme completely unplayable and boring by comparison. I wish this wasn't the case, since getting killed on level transitions and shit is awful, but ironmeme still gets my blood pumping like crazy.

I started playing CoP again using Absolute Nature 3 lite and Absolute Structures. Then I tried to add OWR3 to ge better weapon models but as soon as an emission ends, bandits turn hostile. I assume this is a bug with OWR3 since it they did not behave like his before.
Is there a fix for that ? Is it a common bug ?

Kill them all

OWR3 changes bandits to be always hostile to you. It's one of those changes that is actually a pretty bad idea due to the nature of 'safe' hubs in CoP because inevitably things bug out and you walk into Skadovsk at some point to get a faceful of buckshot from a bandit in kill mode at the doorway.

Just delete the squad_descr.ltx that came with OWR3.

OWR is a meme.

Not only that, it also makes some fairly drastic changes to weapon damage and NPC accuracy as well as completely unnecessary changes to some weapon upgrade trees.

At least OWR for SoC is legitimately a vanilla+ mod that leaves them pretty much identical to the vanilla stats.

So I just want to play vanilla, if they start changing gameplay values that's not for me.

That's pretty much where I got to with OWR3 as well and now I just use vanilla weapons again when I want to play vanilla or vanilla+ CoP. The weapons look okay and it doesn't suffer from the quality control issues of stuff like AO3 or StCoP but the entire package makes so many changes that I would have to work to reverse/heavily tweak that it isn't even worth bothering with.

SoC and CS have awful gunplay in Vanilla too, and since mods really do fix it, this is the equivalent of sticking with a vanilla bethesda game because you're "used to it" instead of fixing all of the issues with mods. You admit you're settling for mediocrity when you don't have to.

I'm not an expert but, each weapon has different time_to_aim which is usually a few seconds or less. If you hit someone in the head (same exact bone x-ray thingy), and then again in that time, you'll do less damage.

Also do you seriously think any gun takes 2 seconds to aim down the sights? Even gauss is like 1.5 at most. They took the LR-300 as base which definitely doesn't take 2 seconds to aim.
