Added to the default 4. Basically, skins work like hellion_A, hellion_B, and so on. So to add, you only need to rename the folder as other letters like hellion_F.

I managed to beat it with vestal, BH, HWM, crusader all L5. No deaths but I very nearly lost my crusader because he ate a giant crit off the bomb just before Vvulf died but then he miraculously dodged two attacks in a row on death's door.

I almost lost Dismas to this asshole, critting my team 3 times in a row while being basically status immune AND in the backline, wheres my team is set up to clean front to back.

I understand but fungal artillery and crones really should be giving you a clue in veteran about only having frontline damage not being ideal there.

Fungal Artillery has never been an issue, since they get stunlocked turn 1 as I set up and then just die to 2 plague grenades.

Anyway, I need to set up a B and C team now, so I have a couple of questions:

1. is ranged skills highwayman good enough to dps backline?
2. Is it worth running 2 man at arms for sick buffs + debuffs?
3.Is the Antiquarian good for non-farming missions at all?
I have the Candle of Life for her but no clue wether she is useful or not.

Well the skin's pretty much playable now barring the solid colours, all I really have left to do is proper texturing and a few other adjustments, and maybe some extra palettes

In the mean time feel free to test it out, see if there's anything wrong. I know that the fx looks a little strange since it was made around the crusader's helmet but that's a small unavoidable quirk I guess

I've run rank 1-2 Antiquarian often. My lineup is normally OCC - PD/MAA/HM - HWM - ANT.

Occultist has mark, pull, heal, and either his stab in case of shuffle or his backline attack.

Plague Doctor runs a mix of stuns and blight along with her heal. Incision is also very useful.

Man-at-Arms spams Bolster. He also has Defender and Retribution. I prefer Bellow for the fourth skill but Rampart is also good if you want to run rank 3 HWM and constantly switch places with Duelist's Advance/Rampart.

Houndmaster has Hound's Rush and Cry Havoc. His third skill is either Guard Dog or Target Whistle. I normally take Blackjack in case of shuffle but running both mark and protect is fine. Or any other skill really.

Highwayman has Point Blank Shot, Duelist's Advance, Pistol Shot, and Wicked Slice.

Antiquarian has Nervous Stab, Protect Me, and Invigorating Vapours. The fourth skill is either Festering Vapours (when running PD) or Fortifying Vapours (for emergency healing after a shuffle).

The strategy should be pretty clear. Depending on which party you have, the HWM starts in rank 1, 2, or 3 (if you have an MAA). He uses PBS or DA right away. Sub PBS for Grapeshot if you're going to do the Rampart dance with the MAA. OCC manages corpses and marks targets for Pistol Shot and the HM's dog. With the amount of dodge and protection your team will have, there shouldn't be that much healing he needs to do. Ant uses guard on HWM and then spams the party dodge buff, refreshing guard as needed.

Auntie pros and cons:
+makes it so enemies can only target three of your team unless using aoe
+can make it very hard for enemies to hit your team, increasing their survivability
+immune to shuffle
+loads emone
-doesn't bring damage to the table
-low health
-low healing
-relies on not getting hit as a form of defense
-generally useless in a lot of cases

1. Yes, with highwayman's buckle and any other damage trinket he can reliably 2-shot just about any backline mob with pistol shot. Duelist's advance/point blank shot allow him to dumpster frontlines as well.

3. Yes she is, but that doesn't mean she's good enough for bosses (except Siren). Candle of Life is shit though. Use her to spam dodge buff, secure kills with blight/stab if a monster survives with like 1 hp, and use her force guard on your highest dodge character if needed.

Antiquarian's thing is being generally more shitty that any other class in a fight, meaning you take one or more if you think you can get away with it for mad stacks but any other in-position character will be a better pick in terms of fighting.
Having said that they can provide a pretty good defensive buff to one party member, buff the whole party's dodge a reasonable amount at higher levels and they tolerate being shuffled well.

I find the antiquarian really good for the weald. Place her at the frontlines and just spam Defend Me on your frontline tank. They'll have 80% prot and +15 dodge in no time while the only danger to your antiquarian ends up being knife bandits, fungal artillery that reaches the frontline and virago curses.

Oh and of course: giants begin to pose no threat.
If at worst your damage taker gets shuffled to the last position, just put defend me on the second sturdiest hero you've got.
