It's not a complicated class. It's a mix of warrior and slayer. Build ragnarok meter, spend your points, don't overcap, use damage modifier boost skills on point finishers, get as many resets as possible with bloodthorn, and get three shining crescents every rag.

Tera is the only MMO I have played and I hear people say it has the best mmo combat, but really all it is, is a cooldown and reset simulator where skills have a strict priority list and it gets very repetitive couple that with terrible performance and bullshit enemy mechanics for example BAMs walking at the player for massive damage knockdown locks and it gets trustrating too.

I'm not commenting on it's challenge, it's more that there is nothing to do but the same rotations over and over save for the odd mechanic you have to follow. It's worse though because classes that are more difficult to play don't necessarily out damage shit like archer.
damage depends alot on how skilfull you are on a class.
I'll argue the fun is doing it while maintaining back time. Although, I agree with you. The combat isnt so amazing that many would play this game is for combat and not the game models.
