The guild I was in, the atmosphere, my friends who could RP a million times better than I could.

It’s weird, I’d been doing nonstop for several years, building up my character (and destroying him many times). It wasn’t until November of last year that I just stopped. Some part of me realized I wasn’t having fun anymore, the community, drama, rise and fall if events that eventually go retconned, all of it got really old quick, and the lore inconsistencies introduced to us in the last year have been very disappointing.

Public events were a no no unless you wanted to RP with every noble that claims to be the rightful heir to this place or that place. It all just got so boring, I didn’t even know how to end my character at the time, I dunno I’m rambling but it’s been almost a year since I’ve RPd and it’s interesting for me to think of where my character is atm. I think he ended up killing himself, which is a safe bet but who knows. Oh well. I feel like it was all just a waste of time in the end but I’m glad to have made all the friends I have from those experiences.
