New player here (NA), which server should I pick?
I heard there's RP servers? I'm not really into RP but I guess I don't mind it too much, as long as it's not overbearing and people actually play the game.
What server do people from here generally play on?

What does a decent PLD MT rotation look like that will give me a threat lead over lowest-common-denominator DPS and OTs that don't shirk? I guess that's the core question now that i think about it.

I know i can play it by ear and watch the threat meter but i guess i'm trying to optimise a bit here

Is this over-analyzing though? i mean, i guess it is in the sense that i've already cleared all the content, but i'm just trying to not be the best i can be (read: not a shitter)

ACN is perfectly fine. I've been getting kicked by metacucks who only want 4 SAM groups as an ACN but any good player knows that an ACN is almost as good as a SMN.

Serious question, I haven't played FFXIV in months, but I plan on going back for stormblood at some point soon. How fucked is my scholar? Am I going to have to level an astrologian now when I get back?

Would you say it's worth doing the MSQ in HW as a dragoon for those? I was planning on just continuing as a monk once I got there, but I did want to try dragoon eventually and I wouldn't mind swapping for some neat story bits.

Zalera is a good choice to start on.
Avoid Mateus as it's basically the diarrhea runoff of balmung.

Balmung is the biggest rp server but is currently locked out to new characters so Mateus is where people go for their rp now
