>muh MOPAR
Chevy and Ford V8's are better so who cares

Their built quality might actually improve.

>gm fangirls are THIS delusional
Call me back when your chevy and ford get a V10.

>hellcat powered kia stinger
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH!!!!

except the "Partnership" is just co-developed transmissions and tech for infotainment systems. that's pretty much it they aren't doing anything major and you likely won't even notice them intertwining.

>Buying FCA

I'll pray for you

In actuality it'll be some shitty platform engineered by Fiat and built by Hyundai. Probably a Veloster and the Dart.

oh good they can make a new hyundai coupe with a real v6 for europe since we didn't get the genesis coupe god fucking dAMNIT I'M STILL ANGRY ABOUT THAT

>700HP all american muscle engine
>in a 5 door hatch GT car from Asia
>Throw in a manual tranny too
mfw

>implying the Hellcat is anything special
>falling for the marketing on an overweight shitty car

autoblog.com/2017/10/31/howling-coyote-ford-mustang-f-150-getting-700-hp-supercharger/

>supercharge a mustang at a stealership
>dont void warranty
>Come out cheaper than the hellcat
>on a superior frame, suspension, etc

youtube.com/watch?v=owaoJFk2lZE

>talking specifically about V8s
>moves goalposts to V10s
Retard
>shit talking ford
At least be consistent with your shitposting

I said hellcat powered kia stinger (700 HP stinger) not the whole hellcat car being shoved into a stinger...

Even then he's still right. Hellcat engine is supercharged, you can supercharge an LS whatever number they're on and get something better. Looks like ford is also getting to that with this new coyote or voodo thing they have now.

>700hp
>3yr/36000 mile warranty
I'm sure if you asked nicely you could order a Mustang with one pre-installed
autoevolution.com/news/50l-coyote-v8-pumped-to-700-hp-with-ford-performance-roush-supercharger-system-121429.html

You are missing the point of my post entirely. if we were going to get something cool out of the FCA/Hyundai deal it would be a powerful engine from FCA going into a more modernized korean chassis.

>fiat
>still thinking chrysler has any say in the making of their garbage V8's
kek.

>made me kek
>thought about
>it's actually correct

Dodge is shitty but they still make a better chassis than Hyundai.
They're just getting their feet wet outside the economy market.

Ford has one regardless of your autism

>talking specifically about fca and kia
>muh gm
At least stay on top, fangirl.

What production car uses/used it?

>what production car uses it
The bus.

Are you stuck in 2004?

Stinger >>>>> Charger

Isn't the Charger a 1999 Mercedes bugeye chassis?
Hyundai at least built theirs entirely on their own.

>thinking Hyundai is big enough to buy FIAT

>thinking FIAT is worth more than a shoestring and some pocket lint

You are of course welcome to check the numbers before more verbal excrement escapes, probably to hard though.

Well good on them though. Surely Hyundai can actually fix what's wrong with FCA's shitty cars and actually make them reliable like their cars.

>spoonfeed me mommy

Hyundai has a monopoly on global trade, ontop of all their other manufacturing and the fastest growing car company in the world.
Hyundai could buy all of Italy.

>What production car uses/used it?
ford uses them in trucks, suvs and vans

also see you should be very familiar with that vehicle and it uses a ford v10

You think the buying power of Hyundai mother company has a blind thing to do with the Automotive arm? Heh, you ever had a look at a number of Japanese car manufacturers.

If Hyundai were a country their GDP would eclipse Italy.
Don't you get it?
You've handed all the power in the world to the gooks. And you think because you say
>b-but fiat sells cars!
That changes the fact that some squinty native jungle kim chi eating fat fuck could buy your entire country.

The various arms of a conglomorate company sink or swim on their own, Hyundai being big doesn't mean Hyundai Automotives have access to that buying power. Renault/Nissan group just bought half of Mitsubishi Motors, Mitsubishi as a mother company could buy Renault and Nissan without even blinking.

Mitsubishi is shit

Wew lad

Mitsubishi is massive, they've got their fingers in every pie in Japans production, just like Honda.

Remember when we thought this about Japan, but their broken, pseudo-westernized postwar society ended up putting the brakes on what little innovation they were doing and drove their workers mad?

Ever seen Korea's fucked up pseudo-westernized postwar society?

Another foreign vulture coming in to pick off whats left of Chrysler. I want to get off this ride.

And for the sake of interest, Nissan/Renault bought Mitsubishi Motors share for access to their Diesels, cause their own ones suck dick.
If you were wondering where the Nissan Titan Cummins link came from, Mitsubishi build turbos for Cummins/Holset and in exchange Holset gave Mitsubishi their VNT tech.

big v8s don't sell anymore, and neither do econoboxes with american branding on them, because america made a name for itself in "cool, but breaks down a lot and drinks gas". the shitty italy of cars.

also american auto companies in general hate money and are obsessed with where they want to go, not where their customers would possibly go

First of all, what does that have with the price of tea in china?
Second of all,
>America made a name for itself in "cool, but breaks down a lot and drinks gas".
You have zero (0) idea what you're talking about. I think you'd be delighted to hear The Grand Tour is now available on Amazon Prime!

So they are for commercial use.

>Dodge makes the snek
>Ford makes pigfat beiner boxes
L.O.L.

I like Snek, but we were talking about V8s, and Ford/Chevy make better V8s than Dodge, tone down your autism.

>but we were talking about V8s
No, we were talking about Kia and FCA.

If we're talking the last 20 years I'd be hard pressed to disagree. They do deserve commendation for the V8s they've produced considering the turmoil the company has gone through.

Who on Veeky Forums actually owns 8 cylinders?

I own two 4 cylinders, so I do own eight all together.

Ya cheeky cunt

By that qualification I own 10

Me, if you add my cars together. Have done in the past though.

In America you have to try to not own 8 cylinders.

>owning a v8 and a v2

I4 and V6

Yeah. 5.3 liters of Chevy v8 glory

>t. Euro

>better V8s
Is that an objective or subject statement?

If we are talking platforms, chevy and ford do make better ones. With V8s though, Chrysler makes some good ones. Their 6.4 makes 485 hp/475 lb-ft and their 6.2 supercharged speaking for itself. The 5.7 is still a decent V8, just not a performance oriented one like GMs 5.3.

Nawww. All the Suburbans and Expeditions sold are 6cyls.

together they will form THE TRIFECTA OF GARBAGE

>implying fiat or chrysler had any sort of quality or style to ruin to begin with

You're objectively right as much as it pains me to admit it

Are they planning to build the world’s most unreliable car?

You mean Fiat's most reliable car?

They had both back in the day

Not since our grandparents.

Nigga my beat old ford pickup runs a v10, and i got half a mind to mid engine that shit in an escort wagon just to desu your shit up

>chrysler
>creators of the PT cruiser, aka the mini hearse

At least design will improve.

>By that qualifaction im at 22

> be Fiat/Chrysler
> oh god the kpops have made a new sports sedan
> don’t worry, beat our SRT engines
> b-but that interior
> b-but those features standard
> f-fuck fuck!
> we gotta do something
> umm umm
> let’s do what we did with the japs
> suck their yellow dicks?
> no no! colab with them!
> genius!
> we can put our big 16 spark plugged 16 valve V8’s and 6 speed manuals into their better quality new hatch sedan
> brilliant!
> we can market it as being innovative and totally not wanting our shit pushed being in the public

I own a 5.7 Hemi

I have an M273 in my garage right now.

What’s with all the FCA hate? Dodge’s Challenger and Charger are decent cars that are performance oriented if you want them to be, and Ram trucks have actually improved a lot in the last few years. The new 1500s with the 5.7 Hemi and the ZF 8 speed transmission is actually a very good reliable truck.

I don't want them tainting the rising star that is Hyundai-Kia.

THEY ALREADY COLLABORATE THIS IS NOTHING NEW

The global engine alliance, which developed the Tigershark engine family used by FCA for the past 10 years, was a joint venture developing technology between Hyundai, FCA and Mitsubishi, of which FCA and Mitsubishi have been buddy-buddy since the mid 80s. When it comes to putting metal bits in other metal bits, collaboration among smaller manufacturers is the only way to maintain competitive pricing.

>of which FCA and Mitsubishi have been buddy-buddy since the mid 80s.
Hence Mitsubishi and FCA driving direct injection tech

...

I have an LM7

So what’s wrong with the engine?

With Italian styling since we're talking FCA

you mean the v10 Lamborghini designed?

Got me a Ford SOHC 4.6 3V

Would you take a 302 and a 6.8 v10

>700 hp 5.0
>engine grenades as soon as the warranty expires
There's a reason FCA used a 6.2

umm the triton V10 hasnt been offered in a F 350 or less series truck since 2004. They were fucking junk and kept blowing plugs out of the heads.

You mean that cancelled car that isn't produced anymore?

They already had a 6.2?

>Implying the 426 isn't one of the greatest racing engines ever made
wew

>being this delusional

Literally still used and wins in motorsports

>using the word "literally"
>2017 XDD
ugh, homosex

You seem like the special kind of retard that goes around saying Chevy smallblocks are the best and the 454 was a masterpiece

>Cant deny post
>ur gey
The absolute state of gm fanbois

I didn't say uruguay I said "ugh, homosex" learn to read

Honestly I don't know anything about the engines I just knew where the image of came from (a tracey ullman skit) and I knew that there is a part where the Simpsons kids do the same thing so I just needed an excuse to post it, thus just writing a very generic "being this delusional" reply to maybe piss him off.

Thanks.

>Still no rebuttal
How does it feel knowing that GM performance died with Pontiac?

haha you said butt

I can't keep up with your faggotry slow down princess

>I was merely pretending

I wasn't pretending I really don't know anything about engines. I just took a screenshot from this video

youtube.com/watch?v=iHxDrGs8Q38

>continuing to reply and admit defeat
who tf invited this masochist

1UZ bitch
