Doesn't need any more than his base weapon and he's decent with it, and having energy damage to complement your early game lack of energy arsenal is nice.

I like the inclusivity this mod offers either way. Beth obviously considered it, since there's a gay couple in sanctuary, but maybe they didn't feel up for having it be one of the options you choose at the beginning, which I get.

You choose race and sex at the start, it might have been seen as awkward to choose "straight" at the start too.

Actually wait a minute. You can fully edit your spouse at the start, during the mirror scene. They simply could have just had the sex option still highlighted when you switch to them to edit them. It actually would have been really simple.

Oh but the baby is a plot point, and they would have had to add more lines about adopting. Plus any time you add gay stuff you get people mad at you, and for a AAA game that's something they stepped carefully around.

Wasn't the PA lore basically that a suit of PA could lift a car if they wanted to? I would have loved to be able to lift up cars in 4 and throw them, perhaps at the cost of faster fusion drain while carrying the car.

I liked the interchangeable pieces but I hated that the power difference was so vast that there was no reason to not use t-60 / x-01 in the end.

4 is so easy that you can wear just the frame with no armor and still never die except when finding a Fatman enemy.

I liked the interchangable system but desu nothing looked good together unless it was all the same set.

Nice. A better balance would be to not give the player power armor 10 minutes into the game. Make repairing them hard as hell and make them extremely rare. The legs thing is just my personal nitpick.

bruh i can fight thru quincy in a pair of panties on my char and win against 40+. Game is too damn easy once you max out your defences a bit. add in power armor frame and i get bored and routinely need 40-80 people to fight at a time so I dont go and play something else.

Sooooooooo... I finished a 400 hour playthrough (my first one) and I didn't encounter a single enemy enemy with a Fatman, Rocket Launcher or a Minigun, nor I found any raiders with a raider power armor. In fact, I didn't come across a single enemy with a PA. What. How come?

I don't think it should fuck with loads of ammo since All it's doing is is making some guns shoot other calibers. I'm certain you could still change those ammo types.

From dedicated spawns like Fahrenheit with her Minigun, of course I did, but I'm talking about random encounters, like some random raiders and one of them just happens to be sporting a power armor.

Nobody plays vanilla. I'm just weirded out because I didn't come across a single Fatman and I don't have any mods that removes heavy weapons from the droplist. I'm pretty sure at high levels a shitty raider should EVENTUALLY have a heavy weapon, right? Because I've seen it in videos.

I haven't gotten there yet on my main character. My first playthrough I saw the synth as a slap in the face as a mother. The icing on the sociopath Father cake. "I know you didn't get to be with your son, but here, take my creation, that my ego caused me to make in my own image, that my ego now causes me to assume is a suitable replacement, and my ego can't stand the thought of my work being destroyed when you destroy the institute, so take this with you!".

I left him with the rest of the synths, and saw him as one last causality to Father's ego.

Then I cried a lot since my family is now all dead for real, and my son was a monster.

And that was on a badass BoS hero shooting everyone character, the softer more realistic character I'm playing now will probably have an even rougher time with it. I'm really not looking forward to that moment.

Actually I had issues with that program as well. Installing it I mean. I don't even use that program anymore because I manually pose in Blender.

I think you need Python or portable python for that program to pose it though. You also need Python for Blender and 3ds Max plugins as well iirc. This stuff I think Haishao (from /tesg/) guided me through, and now that I've got them installed, they work.

You might also simply have your mesh in the wrong directory. I'll run it to see how I had it set up.
