There is no reason you need more car than a Honda Fit. It is literally the pinnacle of automotive engineering

There is no reason you need more car than a Honda Fit. It is literally the pinnacle of automotive engineering.

>but muh V8
>but muh pigfat sedan

Nope. You literally cannot provide ANY reason why you would NEED more than the Fit provides.

Can't tow anything.

You don't NEED to tow everyday. It's just an excuse to drive around in a lifted redneck-mobile to show off to your trailer park friends.

Jelly

Nigga I run a lawn care service, like fuck I don't need to tow every day.

What about when the day comes that you DO need to tow something?

still a honda. there are MUCH better econoboxes for less.

Can't skid.

good for you if you like driving a cuckmobile, not really a redneck retard but I would like to actually be able to have space to work in my vehicles. I'll stick to my nip landboat Camry thanks.

Then you call a reputable towing business. You, personally, do not need a vehicle that can tow.

I have money. I do what I want. I don't have to explain myself.

There's no way a Yaris is better than a Fit in any metric. The Yaris was so bad, Toyota stopped making it and instead rebadge Mazdas for the newest offerings.

But that's what I'm saying. You want to drive something unreasonable and unnecessary. There is no NEED.

I carry things and people. The Fit cannot carry the amount of people and things that I need to carry.

I also can't do burnouts in it and I NEED to do burnouts because I am a chew toy.

You truely don't understand American life outside of the core couple cities do you?
Towing is a part of life here.

Yea I want to be able to get into my car comfortably.

>signed, Honky Kong

There is no reason you need more car than a bus. It is literally the pinnacle of automotive engineering.

>but muh freedom of movement
>but muh personal property

Nope. You literally cannot provide ANY reason why you would NEED more than the bus provides.

Then stop being fat.

I need 4wd or AWD because I live in the NE and one of my job duties is snow removal. Also, its just great to be able to hit the 4WD button and not worry about if you need to go out during a storm. So anyways, OP, point is, you are retarded if you honestly think this, and probably some soyboy who doesn't understand why real adults might have an actual need for vehicles with greater capabilities than your little soy-mobile.

Have a fit, can confirm. It's the best shit i've ever had

Like I said, NEED. If your duties require snow removal that is different, but the majority of people in the North East, Central, and also Canada do just fine in a FWD vehicle.

I live up 3 miles of dirt roads with creek water crossings in the winter.
You're saying I should just not be able to leave home for 3 months out of the year?

>You, personally, do not need a vehicle that can tow.
Are you a europoor by chance?

Then you can get a separate vehicle capable of towing whenever it's required, but under normal circumstances nothing more than a Fit is suitable.

Nigga build a bridge.

If one of his jobs is snow removal, it's possible he drives a plow truck and so he absolutely needs 4WD and probably a heavy duty tranny to deal with the constant back and forth and heavy hauling.

Nigger it isn't my land where the crossings are. And the county doesn't take kindly to illegal grading near or in waterways.

Do Ogres ever sneak onto your property and take big fat shits on your swampy lawn?

We get between 190-240" of snowfall between October and may every year here, every day i need to be able to get down miles of poorly groomed dirt roads in driving wind and traversing snow drifts that can be up to 4" deep. 6 times a year I have to drag myself 580 miles to civilization 320 miles of that on divided highway in low population areas and though some of the most dynamic winter weather east of the Mississippi. Go fuck yourself OP, I'm keeping my Grand Marquis.

There aren't regular bus routes in rural areas so your post is irrelevant.

If it's your rightful passageway then the city is obligated to build a bridge.

Literally who?

No, it's a 1300ft change in elevation in 2.3 or so miles up a canyon. It crosses three times at the bottom and another three at the top because it was graded in 1914 or something.
Last winter, one of the crossings was about 20 inches deep with water. No problem at all for 35s and 4wd though.

>RWD
>Unused interior space
>Snow
A Fit is obviously the better option here. Less fuel wastage, better efficiency, and less interior space to heat.

>city
Dude clearly lives in an unincorporated area or a small township. Not likely to care to spend money to improve back roads.

Are you legitimately fucking retarded?
>There is no reason you need more car than a Honda Fit.
>I provide a good reason I do need it
>Like I said, NEED (although I admit you just gave me a reason why you need this)

You said there is no reason why I'd need more than a Honda Soy, I gave you a reason, you acknowledge that its a good reason, then proceed to say that because other people might not need it I am wrong. Your entire train of thought is retarded. Its like your even missing the point you made.

>City
Lol okay
>hey city that's 7 miles away from the edge, come build a bridge on land you don't control

Normal is completely subjective. My normal is 40 miles of hilly road, rain shine, ice, or blizzard and there is no calling in and saying the roads are to dangerous. Others tow the tools of their trade with them, still others can't even access the wider world without vehicles more capable that your compact econo hatch. And to all of us that is normal.

I drove one of these and it was awful. Like some kind of 80s eastern bloc communist car.

The Fit at least had a nice interior.

I live in Alaska.
For 7 months of the year, I drive a snowmobile.

Gauges in the middle of the dash was the dumbest thing.

Bullshit:
Fit: FWD with no ground clearance means much like my old roommates 03 jetta tdi once there is more then 2-3" of the snow on the ground (8 months a year) the light econocbox becomes a tobbagon less pull rope. Worthless.

The CV with snowtires has enough weight to hold traction and float though heavy snow, with new coils shes got 6" from frame rail to tire bottom and plenty of torque at low rpm to ease out of heavy snow. Also have you ever had a panther in the winter? The heat blows as hot fuck lol.

My original post was meant for the majority of people driving. People that daily drive F250s to their office job and have never encountered deeper water than a puddle at Starbucks.

You are an outlier.

>Drive
Don't you mean ride?

>everyone will be able to have their needs met by a honda fit(tm)!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!11!!!!!
>but not you!!!!111!!!!!!

you are one dumb nigger op

Camry is by far an inferior vehicle. Wasted space, excessive fuel usage.

I live in Austin, Texas.

I highly doubt you daily carry around more than 5 people.

Maybe I'll get an Avalon next, thanks user.

>The Yaris was so bad

so clearly you have no idea what your on about. the yaris internals were so good that they lasted for DECADES of models known as the echo, yaris and vitz. The only reason they changed the internals is a) they last forever so anyone who wanted one has one and b)because of point a they needed to attract a new crowd and decided to steal it in the form of the mazda kids.

gauges in the middle was a great idea if anyone tall was driving the car.

My mom has a Fit. It's practical as fuck, and way bigger inside than you'd think.

2 rear facing car seats along with 2 adults and another child out would not fit in the Honda Fit.

Let's see it. Show me a Fit can do this.

>need

You don't need more than a 50cc scooter with a roof and a sidecar. Cars are DEGENERATE CAPITALIST CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION!

If you have more than you need you are oppressing your fellow man. Give your wealth to the party so every man can have as much as he can without having more than anyone else.

>being this autistic

If I wanted a tiny shitbox cuckmobile like this, I'd get a fucking 318ti. At least that's fun to drive.

You don't need a threadripper with a 1080ti, just get a pentium laptop with onboard graphics.

>need

For a second I thought I was on /k/, but I guess the old "it's not called the bill of needs" adage still holds true.

What if i want to overtake a a pack of slow cars that are doing 20km/h under the speed limit?
you going to tell me it is safe doing it in that econobox that struggles to get over 100km/h?

>having shitty public transportation

>living in a city

get a mazda 3.
it looks better.

underage b&

Can't move an excavator with that, how am I supposed to dig trenches at job sites?
Also,
>need
I want it faggot. You don't need anything but food and water.

The problem with our public transportation is that it is often public. As in, publicly funded, usually by property taxes, vehicle use tax, and rego.

This means it is bottom of the barrel shit with underpaid drivers from the bottom of society's barrel and the bare minimum of maintenance performed to keep the buses running, even if the interior has been thoroughly nigged up by the homeless.

And it's also meant to be the cheaper alternative so it's full of people who are the cheaper alternative, not a bunch of regular persons who are just taking the bus because a car is impractical or too expensive to own in their crowded socialist shithole.

How big are the back seats of a Fit? I'm not forcing someone 6ft+ to squeeze into a cramped back seat.

Ah, so you're a faggot then.
Figures.

The current Jazz/Fit is rated for 1000kg/2200lbs in Europe, which is more than your yard cuttings or dirt bikes will ever weigh.

A utility trailer light enough to do two dirtbikes with that limit is going to be total ass to drive around with though

Fuck off back to California, you cuck.
Signed, everyone else in Texas.

>Then you call a reputable towing business.
What if you are the reputable towing business?

Worst car Toyota ever made. My worst regret in life was buying a Yaris.

Here is my argument; the Fit/Jazz wouldn't get to the places I take my Hilux, even less with the stuff I'll carry in it

1000kg limit, which is plenty for stuff like couches, a dirt bike or similar

>you don't need the potential for self reliance
>you need to rely on other people instead

not even marxists would agree with you. in fact, marxists would tear you a new asshole.
capitalists would tear you a new asshole.
everyone would tear you a new asshole.

what you are describing as some ethical ideal is, in fact, so far removed from basic human nature that it fits into no established philosophy because it has been determined to be a living hell every time it's been considered. self reliance, be it a born right or bought and sold, is the single most important thing for humans despite us being a social species. without it we don't get a lot done, and what we do accomplish is not accomplished promptly and efficiently. a group of self reliant people working together is a society. a bunch of incompetent babies who can't do anything without adult help is a day care with insectoid men instead of children. a day care operates at a loss.

>"You don't need anything more than a Fit"
>"Lol just get a different car then"

It is one of the most practical cars on the market. I was going to buy one, but everyone gave me shit, so I bought an accord. I probably get my dick sucked more now than I used to.

There is no reason you need more car than a geo metro

No one needs more car than a mitsubishi mirage

I am 6'3" and I can't fit a rear facing child seat in a fit and still have room for a passenger in the front seat. Other than that I agree with your sentiment.

They are very vertical so not much legroom but short car reviewers would call them roomy.

I have a legitimate question. I will be selling my BMW soon and I'm broke as fuck, so I need something cheap, japanese and reliable. How reliable is the Fit around 2006-2010 model years? What about the CVT transmission is it any good? What to watch for?

Honda makes the best CVT transmissions, and reliability is top tier. You'll be OK.

I'm happily married and help raise my wife's 2 kids. Nothing gay about that.

Agreed. Yaris is absolutely garbage. It gets the same MPG as an Avalon because the engine is so under-powered and they still used a traditional 4-speed auto, so at highway speeds they run at 4k+ RPM.

You can always get a roof rack storage system and still maintain good MPGs. This way you can take it off when not needed and not waste gas.

>I'm happily married and help raise my wife's 2 kids. Nothing gay about that.
>I'm happily married and help raise my wife's 2 kids.
>help raise my wife's 2 kids.
>my wife's 2 kids.
really

Fit didnt get cvt till 3rd gen. In the us atleast

Just because something is unnecessary doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Except for you, OP, you're the exception.

too small also no diesel
