Convince me not to import a twingo in a few years

the main advantage of a mk1 twingo is that they're the poorest poorfag level of owning a car in europe.

if you import one to burgerland keeping it running won't be that cheap because you'd have to either import a whole one in parts so that you always have parts ready or you have to import every part individually.

without the rolling bed option, an 80s civic gives you a similar barebone slow experience but with a sharper driving characteristic

Its biggest objective selling point in Europe is its ultra-low cost of ownership. That cost advantage would be gone in the US when compared to, say, a Geo Metro or any other domestic market shitbox.

The lock in the trunk kinda just snapped off.
This caused air to get into a pocket in-between the plastic body panel.
The glue won't hold and the plastic panel comes right off.
You can see through the lockhole straight into the car now and it also collects rain and moisture inside.
Mold will probably start growing at some point.

well no surprise here since there were a lot of twingos with these and probably a metric fuckton with these still installed on junkyards.
