Was told to make my own thread regarding craigslist finds. These aren't just any finds I guess but specific cars.
People on this board and IRL love to drone on about how hard it is to find a stock Nissan 240sx or toyota supra, but it seems like most people just suck at searching. Anyway I'll be linking a bunch of stock or somewhat stock examples that I have found.
any other cars (specifically Japanese) that you are looking for in stock or somewhat stock condition? I don't look in certain areas but across the entire united states and only ones posted on craigslist.
Any good 5th gen (ST180) celica hatchbacks that are in manual? If not, a coupe would do too
Honda preludes in manual are another one to find too
Jaxson Brown
its got the "Drift" tax and you can always talk someone down.
Automatic 240s' will always be better because they weren't beat on. and 5 speed tranny's go for like $100-$200 bucks. There are also multiple well written write ups on how to do them on a bunch of forums so its def do able if you have the tools and common sense.
Jacob Russell
Why do 240 manual transmissions go for a day's wage, but Z32 manuals cost $1-2k?
Jace Rodriguez
Are you talking about GT-Four's or just regular GT's?
But if you're talking about GT's I thought they came hatchbacks and convertibles only
Adrian Williams
No memes associated with them. They also don't handle as well stock
Ayden King
I couldn't tell you that. Maybe because manual Z32's are rare to begin with? Most of them that I see are for sale tend to be automatic.
Jason Allen
Yeah but it would be a real shame to take an unmolested S14 (even an automatic) and start modding it by ripping out the tranny GT and GTS, the GT4 is way too out of my price range as a broke college student
Ryan Phillips
Can you use your wizardry to find me a non-fucked manual Z32 for $5k or less? Don't really care about the aspiration at that price.
Adam Young
ok, so I was searching for manual celica's and they are cheap and plentiful but holy fuck look what I found.
>Yeah but it would be a real shame to take an unmolested S14 (even an automatic) and start modding it by ripping out the tranny
No it's not? The cars worth is pretty much exclusively in using them for modifications, don't let drift tax ect make you think these NA 240s are special.
Obviously you can find these cars if you search nation wide. The people bitching about it are those that are expecting to find a stock 1986 Corolla gt-s hatchback in their own little town.
Thomas Price
>he doesnt search far and wide for a clean unmolested chassis
lad, I'll travel across country just to get something without rust
Lucas Bennett
Not saying I don't personally search out of state. Just pointing out that the people proclaiming clean cars don't exist aren't looking far enough. This is not news.
european here, I got 12 grand laying in my lap and want to buy a 200SX Turbo (S13 in yurop) as daily. How much should I spend?

Are there any clean non-shitty third gen Camaros with a non-shit engine at affordable prices? All the one I find are the ones that produce 90 hp and shit.
Christopher Baker
how are you finding these?
Wyatt Martinez
idk about the european market
man I dont know much about third gen camaros but I know I would have to do a fuckhuge search and would have to look thru so many cars because they are no where close to rare but Im sure there are plenty for sale in the US
