Drain ATF pan once a year.
Air filter once a year.
Sparkplugs every 100k, Iridium

The only things I've had to replace is power steering pump, MAF sensor, and 1 injector.

As a note on the oil, only use synthetic in the 1MZ-FE, it's notorious for gunk.

Been driving it again for a week now, after 6 months stopped. Thought I'd have some issues, but it's performing faultlessly. Did good by betting on it.

I've rebuilt the transmission, steering, front end, suspension and fuel tank, brakes (did 4 wheel disc conversion), refreshed the engine and a bunch of other little things. It all worked (except the transmission that lost a gear) but I loved the truck and wanted to restore it rather than buy a new one.

The 5.7 burns a tiny bit of oil but still has good compression and runs good. I'm curious how long it will survive.
