Draw your tach in ms paint and label how it feels, try to guess the car if you want to

...

>tfw my car doesn't even have a tach

this

my bike does tho

...

...

...

atleast its reliable

...

vw?

Pontiac G5

this'll be a real hard one

Fiero with a body kit

>1k idle
>2k normal cruising
>2.5k OWO whats this
>3k shits getting good
>4k omfg im gonna die!
>4.8k torque for days!
>5k nothing, lmao jk youre in a truck

...

...

I misread what you wanted me to do and only realised after i'd made it. Have a weird personification of how my car feels.

...

Yall niggas obsessed with revs lately.

fucking lol @ 10k

It's the first thing I do when I look at a cars interior for the first time - where is the redline?
Anything less than 7k is trash.

No redline, Factory fuel cut is supposed to be 7krpm.
People claim theirs does anywhere above 7k up to 7600.

Not drawing because on phone

>Cunt hair over 1K: warm idle without choke
>2-3K: daily usage without angering THE LAW.
>4-5K: peak torque, overtakes at extralegal speeds.
>6-7K: you have awoken a great evil.
>8-9K: peak power, full sanic.
>10-11k: beyond the grasp of mere mortals. If you got the launch right without lifting the front wheel, you have now done 0-60 in less than 3 seconds.
>12K: >implying you ever need to take it here

Ignorance is bliss.

(Phoneposting faggot here, excuse my lack of drawing)

Worn out 4AGE:

>600-1200
Idle lies here somewhere depending on the position of the planets in our solar system.
>1200-2000
Engine lugs and shakes like an earthquake if you stare at the pedal too hard.
>2500
RPM I need to stay below to avoid burning more oil than gas.
>3000-3500
Highway cruizing RPM, also hearing damage starts here.
>3500-5000
Only for emergencies. Car will produce a large smoke screen to allow for a quick escape. Refill oil after each manouvre.
>5000-7600
Untested. Possible engine disintegration may ensue if you proceed past 6000 RPM.

That's a fiero my friend

Fox body or F Body?

$10 nobody will guess what shitbox i'm driving

Wow, yours sounds like a complete piece.

>700 - 1200
Idle is somewhere here depending on how warm it is.
>1200 - 1800
Engine lugs, but doesn't shake.
>1800 - 3500
Normal driving occurs around here, and drives like a modern day car really. Remarkably smooth for an engine with 300,000km.
>3500 - 4400
Suddenly, double the power
>4400 - 7600
TVIS butterflies open and it screams all the way out to redline.

Such a fantastic sounding engine.

Ford Ranger

here's a hint, it's not american

Is it a truck? Mazda B series?

Nah, correct brand though. 2008 g6 gt

It's not a truck. It's not japanese either (or any other chinkshit)

Some sort of VW? Golf? Jetta?

Close, but not German either

t. torquelet

Maybe I'm overexaggerating a bit, but I haven't had time to check things like timing and such. I have to agree it's a great sounding engine, but it's so fucking worn I can't enjoy it. I still need to see when I can take it apart.

S2000

ahh its fucked

Reminds me of my old pug 306 dturbo

Very close!
It's a 307 2.0 hdi

...

Mine was an XUD, looks like nothing changed on the hdi engines lol
>hit 3.5k
>parachutes deploy
>no power only noise

I gotta admit, for a 100hp car it feels fucking fast
Probably because of the torks

...

check 'em

I have it simmilar with my 105hp 1.9 TDI, until 3k RPM it feels relatively powerful and then slowly dies.

is this a lupo?

c h e c k e d

nope

Some SEAT then? Looks like it's from VAG.

Phoneposting so deal with it

>idle pic related
>1K-2k
lol just noise
>2K-3k
More noise, neighborhood is angry but not raging at me. Will maintain speed but not much else
>3K-3500
What’s dat woosh noise m8
>3500
GOD DAMN NIGGA WHAT IS THIS
>3500-6K
AAAAHHHHHHHHH
>6K-7500
WHEN ARE U GONNA SHIFT SENPAI
>7500-8K
[DANGER TO OIL PUMP IMMINENT]

It's Japanese

...

>tfw my computer doesn't have ms paint

>tfw 68hp 1.4 hdi

At least it's reliable

Z31

Hint: european brand

...

vrummm

Too lazy to draw but it's a turbo diesel shitbox, and turbo diesels are the automotive equivalent of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, you have to wait a long time for the turbo to spin up and you're out of revs before you know it.

The only reason you need to rev a diesel engine is too gas someone behind you

It's a miata

...

...

...

Evo?

No, 200sx

is that a VW polo?

Nah it's a gen1 mazdaspeed3.
hopefully it has a bit more power than a polo kek

In my turbo diesel Benz, the turbo spools very early and the power is fairly linear from low revs right up to the rev limiter. On the other hand, I owned some Nissan turbo diesel MPV before that, and it would be thoroughly gutless until you got over 2000 revs, then the turbo kicked in with the force of a thousand fiery suns. It sounds sort of fun, but it was more jarring than anything.

One of these with a couple of simple mods might be able to give it a run for its money.

Very true. Could always just do similar mods to mine and pull back ahead though.

And you'd have the displacement advantage for sure, half a liter on ~2 liter engines (1.8l vs 2.3l) is quite a bit.
That 1.8 20VT is a damn strong little engine though.

>Nasp diesel
wew

Interesting, I think the Evo's tach looks similar

Bb6 prelude.

The KA24DET experience
800- Lumpy Idle
2000- Litterally nothing
3000- Nothing because HX40=Lag
4000- Spool
4500- Wastegate opens to atmosphere
5000- Holding 15psi
6000- Engine vibrations because KA
6500- Feels like engine about to vibrate to shreds
6900- BANG BANG BANG BANG *shooting 5 foot flames* (anti lag)

...

900 - idle
2000 - nothing
3000 - nothing
4000 - fuck you torque dip
5000 - fuck you more torque dip
6000 - oh look we started accelerating
7000 - the same as 6000 but just louder
7500 - hope you didn't like accelerating because you have to shift

fucking stupid naturally aspirated fa20

how reliable has your ka-t been so far? I really want an SR or maybe even an RB someday but the turboing it is pretty cheap.

...

>he has never take his 4AGE past 5000rpm

Sell the car and get a V8, the 4AGE is not for you!

You driving a power plant, mate?

>[DANGER TO OIL PUMP IMMINENT]
On top of that, the gauge looks vaguely Toyota, so I'm going to guess 2ZZ Matrix or Celica GT-S

...

Slow car fast

...

Check your engine user.

...

cvt

check out my tach bros

kek'd

...

It is quite undergeared...

>max torque at 4800 rpm
>rev limiter starts at 6400 rpm

I don't like refilling oil after every gear change. I gotta fix it first.
