This year. Me and a couple buds drove from Toronto to mt. Tremblant in Kay-bec for a ski trip. I drove half of the trip in my friend's ralliart. The fucker has barely let me drive it around town let alone through the post-apocalyptic hell that is pepperland.

like 2 years ago from nj to colorado and back. Shit was like some 24 hours of lemons, nonstop except to swap drivers/ gas&coffee every 4-8 hours

When I bought my car, I flew to another state and drove it back with a friend.

It sucked ass, it was an old friend I hadn't talked to in a while, he had changed a lot and was generally insufferable.

Went from southern orange county to Vegas Thursday drove back today. Closest thing to a road trip I guess. Took my qt wife as a co pilot

I did 4.5 hours there and then miraculously 3 hours 40 minutes back to Vista California. Absolutely unheard of there was no traffic whatsoever literally NONE. Cruised like 85 the whole way

From north county too. The trip from San Marcos was about 4 hrs, with about 7 hours the way back. Left at 8:30am. We rarely hit 60 between Baker and San Bernardino. At least I broke even on my trip ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

once my friend and i went across the state to see a rocket launch (florida) and the launch was scrubbed 15 minutes before the launch time

it sucked but we decided to go to cocoa beach instead and try to salvage the trip and at least do something

we ended up eating at a cool tex mex restaraunt and smoking cigarettes on cocoa beach at about 9pm on a cold February night and going swimming then drying off with our shirts and driving shirtless for about 3 hours back home

make sure to change oil and if possible get fresh tires before leaving, bring a spare tire and spare fluids. i also like to have a battery jump pack that i know works on hand as well and a basic tool set

Most recently. Me and a good buddy spontaneously planned a trip during a night of drinking a few weeks ago after I found a fender for my project truck on cl.

>slightly hungover from night before
>gas, coffee and snacks and hit the road
>roughly 6hr Drive each way
>arrive, pay for fender
>smoke a couple j's with seller who was a total bro
>go to small town diner and eat fuckhuge bacon cheeseburger platters
>listen to zeppelin all the way home on the Cabot trail
>stop at cabelas on way home to buy new scope for my rifle
>find $50 bill in parking lot

Went to southern MO, the long way, in my 94 Bronco with the guys to buy fireworks and eat at lamberts. It's our yearly pilgrimage, every second Saturday in June.

Weather permitting, take the topper off, blast some Quiet Riot, and act like the biggest jackasses we can. All the while costing over $100 in gas.

Take the scenic route back up north from Sikeston, see the rolling hills we aren't used to and the beautiful scenery. Eat at Lamberts then stop at every bar on Route 51 on the way home and have one drink at each one.

Never, because it literally takes us multiple hours to decide on where to eat from when we’ve got everyone together, and nobody wants to do anything unless the whole group is involved.

I can’t imagine how long it’d take to plan out a road trip, probably weeks just to decide on where to go.

this summer I think or something early fall, it wasn't anything special, just a Suzuki suv. but man I would do anything to go out with them again, really hope I get to link up with those 3 again but they've been doing other stuff without me, feels bad. I got desperate over the past couple of years and started going places alone but it only resulted in me being the creepy guy by himself not having fun or worse the creepy drunk guy by himself.

COnvoy user here. Will hopefully be getting bran new tires about a month or two before (ideally within about a week). Oil I'm changing tonight, and may change again before hand. Likely gonna hve oil and coolant on hand just in face shit hits the fan.

Jump pack seems like a good idea I hadn't considered. Tools I've got pretty well covered I think, since I only trust one of these other dudes to actually have any tools on them.

Me and my buddies took a day trip across the state to a beach town on Lake Huron. We played some water football, grilled some burgers on the tailgate, it was a good time.

Early May
My best friends and I drove from Nashville to Panama City Beach for senior beach week right before college graduation.

We napped, told stories, rapped on instrumental beats, played jokes and talked about bitches. It was cash as fuck. Beach week was the best time of life. Got drunk with my friends and started to invest in one of my girl friend (although it didn't end up working out). Only bad thing about the trip itself was it was my friend's Nissan Sentra so space was tight especially when the shortest guy in our squad owns the car.
