Well shit, is there a way to complete this 'Call of North' quest without some monkeys paw bullshit as a Loner? Tried all the different wishes, zombie was fun for a bit but got tiring, and going to the CC command centre did nothing either. Feels like the whole quest/'story' they replaced everything with in CoC was a huge fuckin cop-out.

Went back up to the Wish Granter since my objective marker was pointing that way and I wasn't sure what the mod designers actually intended there.

You can't finish call of north because thats wish granter, it gets cancelled later on or something, maybe it does complete but thats not because of your doing. You go to that c-conciousness room, and before that is the control room, there are documents there I believe (I did this like a year ago by now), they trigger a quest where you go to the generators and the war lab.

Well shit. Other than that, what the fuck is there to do in CoC that isn't just the basic freeplay offered in most mods? Feels like they've stripped away every interesting and fun side-mission in CoP, and most enemies feel like ridiculous bullet sponges compared to other Stalker mods, even with headshots & a 7.62 weapon. I really want to like this mod but it's starting to leave a bad taste.

They are a necessary evil, though. Without them Bandits will run around freely, more STALKERS will perish to mutants (while you may argue keeping areas mutant free is bad, they at the very least look out for STALKERS), and Freedom wouldn't have a purpose if they're left to their own devices.
