It's such a shame they went with WW1. I think keeping it in modern times would've helped the series. Then again, they merged the Battlefront branch of the Frostbite engine with BF's... so... probably not. If you told me 10 years this would be what DICE became, I would've laughed at you.

Im not a fan of season passes but locking weapons behind dlc is complete bullshit, especially in bf1 where there is way lower weapon variation. They're actually filling in weapon archetypes with dlc, it's practically P2W

If bf1 just had more/better weapon balance and bf4 ttk it would be so much better. Flanking would be viable, the best players would be able to carry more, but it wouldnt be instadeath.
