God damn. My ranger got serial as a bonus from the AWC. She's able to clear out 4-5 enemies a turn and move after each kill. This is fucking wild.

Didn't know that I am pretty new to Xcom 2in a way I bought it during the sale and onl played my pirated version some to try it out when it was new well before LongDong was fully developed.

No, it's good advice. You just have to be careful when applying a uniform on a previous tier to a new one. It's better to just make a global version on all 3 tiers if you have a certain outfit you like

Sparks and the bolt caster are the only 2 shitty DLC weapons.

Autoloader or expanded mag on Bolt Caster. Flesh over Metal for SPARKs with a modded rank up tree

Well the Spark is getting a big buff come WOTC so he's viable plus you can do Lost tower with Tier 1 gear user.

This, SPARKS are amazing when they are first available. Sadly they suck after that.

Is it worth carrying the skullmine on every mission? Or am I better off using that utility slot on the specialist for something better?

You can upgrade the skullmine again to give it a bonus to hacking on whoever carries it

You upgrade it and then glue it to your specialist's arm.

Do you ever bother with the t2 and t3 swords or the t2 shotgun? I tend to skip over them and just have my rangers use mag rifled and plasma rifles until I get the storm guns, which are the last plasma weapons I get

it's doable, but you should probably wait for lasers unless you have a good team

i'm ~1 month away from lasers, and even then i'll be able to buy 1 or 2, looks like i'll have to go now
assault, specialist, grenadier, technician and ranger is a good team for this type of missions?

you might want to bring a shinobi and try to stealth to the console, but if you can blow through the first few pods you can run and gun to it to basically kill the command pod for free

Shinobi is a good idea, but i don't think i want to kill other pods with 4 man.

if you go with a shinobi then you try to avoid activating til you're ready to hit the hack, so you activate on everything while it's stunned

I mean the only hard part in lost towers anyway was the Sectopod but that becomes easy if you have all your grenades,rockets, a grenadier with shredder and Lily's skills.

Honestly find them more dangerous than Sectopods. An A-squad can take down two Sectopods per turn.

I don't think it's possible to do that with two Gatekeepers. Their defense is too high to make shots certain.

The Bolt Caster's great. The high damage rating and built-in aim bonus means it can carry you through the earlier stages of the game, even if it starts to drop off in usefulness later on. And it just looks fucking cool.
