>Only guild is Baka
>Shilling your ref link
Yes goy join our guild. It is the best. We aren't shills nor are we going to mooch off you or take advantage.
AHx is a much better choice with less drama and more help to n00bs, pm Theris in game

Ill put you in the next OP abbu, if you stop your garbage posting.

Is the Legendary starter pack worth it? Also do i lose the Legendary horse if i die?

Stop playing pay to win games.

Im actually really fucking liking this game for some reason, ever since ive made my own guild and got my friends into it things have been going suprisingly smooth up to tier 6

Daily reminder to thank your local guild healslut!

U good?

Yea, you lose it if someone else kills you, but you can just buy it on the auction house again.

So there's no point getting the Legendary starter pack if you can lose everything then.

I think both AHx and Baka would be roughly equivalent choices when it comes to picking a guild and you should decide which one offers the kind of things you value most. I hope one day the two guilds can be cooperative and friends and i can go and visit baka and socialize with all the cute anime girls.

Yes, the only starter pack you should buy is the cheap one.
If they offered something worthwile like the founder packs did with the custom avatar borders or something then at least there would be a valid vanity reason to do it.

Alright thank you.

>one guild that tells you to set up shop in Sterling but GI is in Caer
>Other guild is dad and son and teeming with autism and rules
>both have less than 20 players and aren't even cracking T5 yet
>Neither have territories or stores in towns
i'd literally rather jump into a random guild

>>one guild that tells you to set up shop in Sterling but GI is in Caer

This is smart though, at least untill enough islands are in sterling to have all structures built.

Extra islands should be in caer for extra farms for the main crafters to use.

You realize you have to death run through reds already highly contested by 2+ guilds to give to/from the GI right?

>You realize you have to death run through reds already highly contested by 2+ guilds to give to/from the GI right?
When you die you have nothing so you can fast travel to caer

Oh I see what you're saying. You only have to run through 1 red zone, there's a little underground mt pass. But we escort you if you don't want to make the run alone.

>currently, the only Veeky Forums guild playing is Baka

I don't play with Baka or AHx, fuck all of you, but why make it look like your guild is the only of the two? Fuck, may join AHx just to spite you now.

AHx has a few players well into T5. Too many members with jobs and shit to get everyone to T6 out of the gate.

What? Making it through red zones is easy. I've been exclusively farming in them and the only time I've died is when I was tabbed out watching a movie. It's highly unlikely that you will be killed while running to caerleon unless you have no idea what you're doing.

this

Or be me, take a wrong turn, and get jumped by 4 guys.

>Running through yellow zone, had my premium mount, 2 hostiles instantly turned to 6
>oh fuck oh fuck
>almost home
>in red zone just before Caer, see some shadows glitching out coming towards my direction
>Fffffffffffffffffffffffuuu
>zone in to caer just in time
i don't think stress should exist in just travelling to a zone

~~~PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT~~~
Today is when the bidding begins for land plots in the major cities. The bids can go up to millions of silver. BE READY FOR GOLD TO DIP AS BIDDERS BUY SILVER TO OBTAIN LAND. Sell your gold before the market crash!
Should i just buy my private island on Caerleon?
build it in relation to where your guild will be operating. Doesn't have to be the major city right next to it though
That's a good idea.
Just sold 3k gold for 104 each
Is this legit?
even if it isnt, which i doubt very much, thats about as high as gold is going to be worth for now, so it's best to make a small investment
Well ok, just sold all my gold for 105, keeping an eye on the market to buy the dip.
I lost 40% of my initial money on robinhood doing what Veeky Forums told me, so im sure nothing can go wrong this time!
...
>thats about as high as gold is going to be worth for now
>That's about as high as gold is going to be worth for now
You underestimate just how much some of these people farm and jew. Always expect game currency to continue to inflate.
qt
>gold isnt tanking
when does it tank? I want to buy the dip
BUY THE DIP
Can solo PvP be worth it in this game? I really like solo ganking in game but i'm afraid it might not be worth it.
whenever I craft in public stores I seem to get some materials back, but never in guild stores, what is going on?
It depends on the zone, islands are the safest and don't give anything back, royal cities give 15% back since it usually cost additional money to set up and maintain ownership of the plot and guild made towns in black zones give 20% back iirc.
why is this staff so shit
Are low level materials relevant for higher tier crafting? For example if I was a massive faggot and stayed in the non-pvp areas for the majority of my time would my income dry up as people got to higher tiers overall
yes
t4 and 5 will always be expensive but T3 and T2 prices are already dropping hard
Thats a shame. Thanks.
lower tier materials are always going to be relevant because of how refining works, but the prices will continue to drop until the only people still bothering with it are bots and newbies.
Yellow zones are relatively safe if you grind up high renown. You might get ganked occasionally but really as long as you do the fast gather frequent bank strategy nobody is going to take the hit to gather your t4 mats.
how to make money with a T4 mage crafting station
only have 500k silver, forever a poorfag
You have more silver than i do.
Make sure to buy the gold dip.. any hour now..
That doesnt seem as bad. I've been on the fence about getting the game since it seemed to be pretty much "pvp with your guild or dont play"
>gold dip
what does it mean
people are predicting other people will sell their stockpiled gold to bid on land meaning gold cost will dip
land bidding is when exactly ? iw ill probably buy some gold if the price goes under 80
With people are getting more and more silver each day isn't the gold market gonna inflate any time?
I kind of want to make a guild of my own, how risky is it?
If I can't get anyone to join it, can I just transfer leadership to an alt and just join an already established guild?
So is ashen Hellgate good fame/silver farm? It's 900 silver per mini boss and 1.1k for chest. Good fame for it too. are the yellow area hell gates a lot more because 5 man? anywhere else to farm combat fame??
>Sell gold now
>Buy gold for a fraction of what you sold it for when the bidding starts
>Save up that gold as the price will inevitably inflate
Should work in theory, but who knows, fuck economics
how to access hellgate ?
>Yellow zones are relatively safe if you grind up high renown.
What does the high renown do for you?
go to any portal on map. I just started 2 days ago and i have the ability to equip t5 shit and I have full t4 (1 enchant) but I'm unsure if this is a waste of time or should I move on to see what else is out there. I haven't even check out T4 zones nor yellow zones.
pvp defense buff
neat
Killers also get a larger reputation penalty, at 10k rep, killing you is a 1k hit each to everyone who killed you
though thats red zones
What's the fastest way to grind rep?
Also killing someone not flagged outside of a black zone lowers your reputation. The higher reputation the person you killed has, the bigger a hit to your own reputation. Get a low enough reputation and you can not leave the black areas, you cant even go into red areas.
Because of this having very high reputation is going to mean the person who killed you will have to work harder to gain that back to be able to stay in the red area. If you dont actually have enough value then people who are there to gank for profit are going to ignore you. People just there to gank to gank might also ignore you for the same reason, they can kill many neutral newbies in your place.
The only people who will attack you are those trying to farm negative reputation to be edgy, or on an alt or something (and even then they might ignore you if you are just gathering a few mats and dont have expensive gear)
Of course not everyone operates on reason, which is why i said it will probably not happen that often, not that it wont happen at all.
so do i get this right, first they delay the game by 2 years and then they make it buy 2 play + cash shop? are these niggas serious?
you cant win an mmo
Couple questions:
What does this game compare to? It looks a lot like torchlight.
Is the game worth 30 bucks?
If yes, is the premium worth it?
How long do you guys see this game being popular?
Is it fun?
>+cash shop
Its a really shitty cash shop from a pay2win perspective. Its the kind that favors people who know how to actually play the game because you can make money off of stupid whales.
IT basically exists for whales to make a little silver while people who actually know how to play the game make loads of silver and buy all the whale gold and then sell it back to other idiots when the exchange rate is favorable to make even more profits.
>What does this game compare to? It looks a lot like torchlight.
Runescape and Ultima Online come to mind
>Is the game worth 30 bucks?
Can't say for sure yet, only played 2 days now, I wish they'd implement a trial or something
>If yes, is the premium worth it?
Yes, it's almost necessary, good thing that you can easily buy it with in-game currency
>How long do you guys see this game being popular?
Can't really say.
>Is it fun?
So far, yes
the prices is atrocious in any case, $30 for a a game that they milked for 2-3 and promoted as a f2p game.
>What does this game compare to? It looks a lot like torchlight.
It controls like an arpg similar to that. Its like that in mmo form, with high focus on economy (gathering, crafting) and pvp.
>$30
Yeah sure
>premium
Yes but you get 1 month when you buy, and you can easily buy it with in game silver if you dont want to spend the $10 monthly.
>how long
Who knows, a while to indefinitely. It depends on if it really clicks, everyone is still getting situated right now. They do probably need to add a little more content. As long as they are planning on doing that and not banking 100% on black zone territory war it will last well.
>fun
I enjoy it, but my favorite game of all time was an endless grinding game with no cap.
>waiting for the hourly gold price update
>anxious that the crash might happen
>it goes up by 1
fuck yeah
Did bidding start yet?
>game update
>launches the installer
This seems kind of shitty
no idea
Jhelp
Is no one pass this point? I thought the game been out for awhile.
Is bidding even this week? Its only been one week, some old forum posts say bidding will be 2 weeks after release but i dont know if thats outdated information.
the fuck
So, I have t4, and I'm slowly upgrading the buildings in my island.
I'm playing as a tank.
What should I do at this point? I've thought about going for crafting a relic, but then I figure I'd just lose it if i go to a pvp zone.
I've thought about PvPing, but then again, by myself, I'd be fucked, right?
I don't even know the basics of pvp, especially as a donky tank class.
After doing alot of trading here is what I figured out. While it sounds like a good idea to sell ore in a biome without ore, it absolutely isn't. Nobody tries to be an ore smelter in the steppe. However you can sell plate armor very well because nobody is crafting it there but players still need it.
Wood and stone always work because it is used for buildings. Stay away from anything that grows on an island including mounts.
Bought this shit today. Google-fu is weak.
1. Where exactly is my island where I build stuff?
2. What is gold for?
3. Where do I craft t4?
4. Where do I get a horse better than starting donkey?
You buy the island from a merchant in a major city, after you finish the starter area. Recommend finishing the starter area at tier 3.
Gold is for investing, you can transfer it to silver. Don't have a lot of time to explain investing, but basically, it's your cash shop money. Silver is in-game money. You can transfer them to each other.
Crafting t4 happens in the major cities, at upgraded crafting shops. You usually have to pay to use these, which is why it's good to have a guild. I recommend AHx, honestly.
You can raise one on your island, or you can purchase one from the market. Not sure, elsewhere.
What's the tax for AHx also wheRevis the guild island?
When do the markets stabilize? Margins for everything are comically bad if not just being sold for losses and are continuing to drop. I wanted to play just crafting and not bothering with all the gathering shit but that isn't even close to feasible.
oh god gold flatlined for an hour
Don't put up your crafts up for sale at the auction house. Thousands of other Joes are doing that. Stock up and sell it on the black market if there's a buy order.
how do black market works ?
Same issue here, the problem is those lower tier mats in all the refining recipes; even if 2 of the on-tier resource comes to less than the refined price, those tear it.
Should I pack all my logs and leave Lymhurst? Any cities want them?
Baka is literally worst guild ever. fucking retards
Any Australians who can tell me their experience with higher ping? How's PvP/PvE? If the only real delay is on dodging aoes (as I've heard the skills are clientside), then I'll be fine, but it'd still be cool to know other experiences.
Also, does anyone know the IP so I can test my ping before I buy?
Hi, newer player here, about to start playing. Wanted some general tips regarding claws if anyone would be kind enough to help. Mainly getting into the game because I can instantly get into any game that features claws and/or fists as a weapon.
I've heard that you can't unlock them right away, so what path do you need to take to get them? I've heard something about sword, then bow, then some other shit to tier 3.
When you get a new weapon, does it start at the same tier as the one before it, or do you have to level it from scratch?
Is it generally better go for a build regarding speed/mobility with claws, or is it better to go for tankiness + dot type shit.
Thanks in advance, just wanted to get everything down before I actually buy and thus start wasting premium time
Game looks cool but does it have a botting/maphacking problem?
>botting
maybe slightly, ive heard people claim to see them, ive not yet, but honestly any zone that has actually valuable materials you could kill the bots and take their stuff
The dealer increases buy orders periodically. Once a certain amount is reached, the prices increases. This simulates artificial demand and since 90% of retards only sell to the AH and ignore the BM you can find crafts that sell for much higher there.
To unlock claws you need tu unlock hunter weapons (using a t2 bow) and then unlock t4 daggers (using a t3 dagger) since claws are considered a subclass of daggers, you can then use t4 claws and specialize into it.
Tier doesn't change and only indicate the tier of materials used to craft an item as well as the minimum level required to use said item. Leveling when it comes to weapons and armor also give item power every few levels, which make you slightly stronger little by little without the need to buy a more powerful version of a piece of gear (ie a higher tier).
>gold average 107
its not dipping. It is not dipping.
This better not turn into another CIE
