Don't bother bro, if they really wanted to steal your bike no amount of chains and locks would stop them from doing so. A few guys could pick it up, throw it in the back of a pickup or trailer, and off they go. Locks help, but bolt cutters will cut most chains and locks with ease.

If you're going to end up upgrading from a 250/300 to a sport or super sport then 390 is the best starter bike.
