dat ain't rich

i have just under half a mil in cryptocurrency shit but that doesnt really count.

Why do you have so much liquid cash?

Coming along. Wouldn't call myself rich yet though.

Hey user, curious what your student loan repayment strategy is? My GF has ~200K and interest accrues at an alarming rate.

Are you planning on paying it down asap, or are you going to just never pay it like a lot of people are planning?

I don't have student loans. That debt is a mortgage.

General rule for debt is to pay down the high interest loans first. I would target anything above 4%. At 2% you'd be solid to just pay the minimum and keep your money in stocks / other investments.

Don't 'not pay them'. It's fucking retarded. The interest will keep adding up. Then you'll have a way bigger problem if you ever decide that was a retarded decision. It's not worth it to condemn yourself to the life of being a poorfag. Even if prospects look bad now, you don't want to fuck your future self like that.

tl;dr Pay them in order of interest rate. Pay them down as fast as possible. Start investing elsewhere when you only have low interest ones left.

Yea, like I'm going to give you all of my financial details, lol

its not like a few numbers are dangerous to give away

>credit card debt
>mortgage debt

uh user.....

>credit card debt
Why would you pass up 2-3% off of every purchase? Are you too retarded to pay your bill in full each month?

>mortgage debt
What's wrong with having a mortgage? Same payment as an apartment but I keep 50+% of it as home equity and get it back when I sell. Even better when your GF pays half as rent.

>To all the rich people here

There are no rich people here. There's probably very little rich people in the whole world. "Rich" is a relative term. If you have 10k, someone with 100k is rich. If you have 100k, someone with 800k is rich. If you have 800k, someone with 3M is rich. It just keeps scaling up.

So far I have the other two posters beat, but I wouldn't call myself "rich", not by a long shot. Not even upper middle-class, actually.

Doing okay. Credit cards are paid in full every month w/expenses run through them for rewards.

>There are no rich people here.
orly? fucking newfag....

millionaires can be considered rich, by me and many people in the world. though in more formal terms its probably "wealthy" or "affluent".

>wake me up inside

Rich fag here 22 yo about 10k liquid cash

>no reference to Veeky Forums
>timestamp 7 months old
>document more than 1 year old

And yes, *I'd* call that person rich. But what makes you sure they'd share the sentiment?

Rich is relative. Most people are losers in debt. The percentage of losers is astonishingly higher on Veeky Forums.

Damn your dad's got some cash. What about you?

>no reference to Veeky Forums
Fags like you think biz was invented the day you showed up. Newfags ruined this board.

>he thinks im ihaz
We have an archive, newfag.

I consider rich $10M+, but I'm working my way there

$50k of the credit card debt is a 2.5-2.75% debit against a business line of credit. They offered me prime +.5% for the lifetime of the balance for a single transaction, so I wrote a check to myself for the full $55k and deposited it in my trading account. Thanks for the (relatively) free money, WF!

Loan is student loans and my single remaining car payment that will be paid off end of this week (that'll be $11k saved per year going forward, what a dumb purchase)

Other Asset includes 94% of what I estimate to be the fair market value of my home, so sales commission excluded.

So what? You haven't proved anything.

Alright. I see a thread from January, one from February, another from October. None of that lines up with the timestamp.

At best your image is a Veeky Forums meme. Doesn't prove shit in terms of the original poster ever frequenting this board.

>Rich is relative
This is true. Surveys show that as individuals net worth rises, they tend to believe the "rich" threshold is higher. i read a synopsis of a study a few years ago where the consensus seems to be $18M is the threshold for fuck you money.

What app is this

>Doesn't prove shit in terms of the original poster ever frequenting this board.
You really are a stupid cunt, huh? We have an archive, newfag, and the guy was a tripfag. It's not fucking hard.

warosu.org/biz/?task=search2&ghost=yes&search_text=&search_subject=&search_username=ihaz&search_tripcode=&search_email=&search_filename=&search_datefrom=&search_dateto=&search_op=all&search_del=dontcare&search_int=dontcare&search_ord=new&search_capcode=all&search_res=post

I use personal capital. Not a bad app/site but they call me once every 1-2 months, which is annoying.

mint

newfag never seen iHaz

I do too, just blocked their number with Google Voice.

I miss iHaz :(

too bad he didn't buy ETH like I told him to

he'd be so fugging rich right now

Oh, you mean iHazi. Gotcha. Didn't recognize the edited screen shot. Yeah, the dudes a legend! I man, who hasn't heard of iHazi, he's fucking rich!

>iHazi

Holy fuck, please stop.

...

My net worth is like negative 4k USD. To tell you the truth, I don't even know how much debt I'm in because I refuse to look.
Don't worry though lads, I'll be a billionaire before you know it.

Ummm it's paper

>he wants to give more money to the jews!

Not rich but,

TFSA $40,000
Cash $ 2,500

Loans - None
Property - None

Just graduated from my master's program

...

7.5 + 0.888 + 2.7 + 0.004 = 51.15

Hmm..

>student loan repayment strategy is? My GF has ~200K
Great decisions, she made.

>pay off mortgage with extra income save 4%/year for the duration of the loan remaining at time of payment
>pay 4% interest per year, pay minimum payment for mortgage
>use extra income to invest in stock market, achieve 10%+ returns easily, resulting in a gain of 6%+ over paying mortgage early (not including compounding gains)

Debt free, cash, stocks, etc, a smidge over a million. Took forever to get this far.

Rich is relative, as another user said. Where you live dictates a lot, too. In LA, I'm upper middle class.

I worked with finance people and I would see peoples vanguard portfolios, he could have grabbed any. I've seen larger ones than 50m.

What do you do?

when are you gonna be rich?

30yo NEET living with mommy without job experience or studies.

Everything is going to be alright? Right bros?

which app/website is this?

I have jnug at 6?! WHAT SHOULD I DO

>t. down 1600 dollar

HELP ME!!! IF I SELL JNUG NOW ITS GONNA MOON IF I HOLD IT, IT WILL DROP! HELP ME!!!!!!!!

>holding onto a leveraged ETF
>not selling and buying JDST

Holy fuck what is that student debt? So happy I didnt go to school in the US

>having 12k in checking
>still use a credit card and have an auto loan

If he pays his credit card in full at the end of each month then it's like a debit card with whatever bonuses banks can afford to give everyone on the backs of idiots who will accrue debt from the bait.

The auto loan might be low interest rate but I'd rather just have that paid off in full as well. I just don't like seeing debt anywhere even if my totals come out in the green, that's using my feels for decisions tho

This, I know people with a credit card that gives them a 1% cashback to use at the supermarket for free, assuming they pay back at the end of the month.

>falling for the financial jew

>150k student debt
>mfw paying 3k/year to study in a private college.
>mfw it's 1k/year to study in public universities.
Sometimes i don't hate socialism that much.

Exploiting systems that survive on the backs of the stupid is being the financial jew, not falling for it.

I get 1% cash back on everything I purchase with my credit card, which i pay off before the month ends. Every single thing I buy is cheaper and that system can survive in part because there are plenty of people with credit card debt at high interest rates.

freedom aint free
which is why we get the best quality too

you can die comfy in your 90's with a bunch of student debt still, the real IQ test is learning how to play the game

>people are still this dumb
You pay the CC fee whether or not you use a CC since its built into the price. Get a nice rewards card (e.g. citi double cash 2%) and get 2% off of everything. Get free loan for over a month and pay off credit card in full each billing cycle.

Will be inheriting some houses valued at about 1 mil and a family business worth about 1 mil too.

congrats to your relatives. what have you accomplished?

This.

Feels good man..Also got about 25K in cash and BTC

Halfway through meme management degree and am holding 5 btc since it wqs 700$

$418K In stock holdings

Around $18K in cash assets

About $22K in material assets

$3 Million Dollar Trust Fund

Wish I was rich :/

I still live at home wit my parents.

And yes I can thank my Great Great Grandfather for my Trust Fund

like -$25 at the moment

how do i stop being poor?

this fuckin guy, holy shit bro, thanks for that i needed a good kek.

You should work 2 Jobs, for like two years save up you money then think of what kind of investment you want to do. Its gonna be a pain in the ass but i think it is worth it eventually.

Worked for me, but don't mind me i'm just some user from Veeky Forums

He inherited the money though.

He has not directly admitted it, but it's pretty obvious from his posts.

my mint doesn't look anything like this

Net worth is around $700k, more than half of which is home equity, which I can't really screenshot. Its not rich, but its probably decent for someone here who isn't an inheritancefag.

>He inherited the money though.
>He has not directly admitted it, but it's pretty obvious from his posts.
Which posts are those? The ones where he posted a photo of his law degree, or the ones where he posted pix of his LSAT score?

We have an archive, faggot. Use it.

This.

No matter how rich I already am, there's always someone richer. People like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are people who I consider to be rich. They have more than a billion dollars more than I do.

dont you people care about all the info these companies are collecting from you

@20 years old

37k€ + a car

tfw yurowages

why does everyone has student loans??
why can't you study at your local university and graduate with 0 debt

To all the rich people here:
What day of the month are you feeling most generous on? A sunday right? Sundays are always lazy and everyone's aloof.

>just over a million
>upper middle
>LA

Unless you mean Louisiana, please try again user.

...

You're not rich but you're not poor so congrats on that.

how?

whoa, how to be rich?

...

Indeed it's not. It's paper

I have 45k in savings and 6k in line of credit debt.

Richer than all my friends.

No proof but I have a ton of assets

They just aren't money yet

My dad makes a lot of money.

401k is a fucking scam
Juat put your money in a high yield savings
What app is that op?

Pay your loans off you stupid bitch. That interest is working against you.

Lol 10k. I'm 21 and just dumped 40k into the market this morning alone. Up 3.2% for the day so far.

Uneducated fuck detected.

> Thinks 2% is work the 80% chance of getting hit with 18%
> Thinks homes are an "asset"
Hahaha FUCKING IDIOT. Assets are things that put money in your pocket, easy as that, even a chimpanzee can understand. Now tell me - without the bullshit speculation - how much money has your home put in your pocket?

This is why poor people stay poor.

bad troll or yuuuuuge moron
