Probably has more to do with artists deciding that any character that binds their tits must be absolutely massive since sarashis are magic or something. I don't think Amano's artwork shows anything conclusive, so it probably will depend on what they decide to do when they do her in non SD 3-D sometime. My bet is that they'll go big, though.
