Probably for mounting in your windshield, it sets the time when you park. Some countries require you to have a clock that that tells parking jews what time you arrived so you don't stay longer than you're allowed to. Obviously the only people who ever get fined are the ones who forget to set their clock, the automatic ones means that won't happen

Why would you take it apart?

It just sets the time you parked into a display in the windshield, so if you park anywhere where you can only park for a certain amount of time (like 1hr free parking for example) you don't have to fiddle with a parking disk. I think it's an euro thing...

Getting a tune and the shop recommended I have spare plugs on hand. The ej207 is pulling timing like no tomorrow so I quit driving it. Figured I may as well do any bolt ons before the tune. Considering an Access port so I can have an e85/93 map to switch between.

Hopefully the LGT won't be so quiet anymore. I would like just a little noise besides the turbo spooling. Makes downshifting a PITA. Sometimes find myself nearing redline as there's no engine noise.
