Nolan Davis
Why not "Dykes on bikes" edition?
Justin Mitchell
I'm kind of squeamish of buying a ktm because of the designated meme
Colton Evans
this one?
Noah Clark
Why do you put your bike away during the winter?
What are you some kind of candy ass?
Adam King
It's not enjoyable to be cold. Why would I do something unenjoyable if I don't have to?
Aiden Jenkins
yamaha choice I had was the xt250. I would have gotten the r yamaha street legal.
Leo Rodriguez
layer up and wear proper gear friend
Michael Perry
...
Jose Cruz
these little niggas out here not even wiping their ass lmao
Xavier White
I still get cold no matter what I wear
Brayden Brooks
idk stop being a bitch then
Daniel Flores
1. Man/woman/trap the fuck up. 2. Buy heated gear for the areas that are coldest. For me, I need heated gloves and something to go on the top of my thighs and then I'll be fine down to below 20F. I can deal with 20F as it is but my hands get cold AF.
Noah Stewart
>tfw rode 17 miles to work (~35 minutes) in 44 degrees with only a leather jacket under my summer mesh gear
am i /cold immune/ or what?
Elijah Diaz
44 degrees is a joke
what speed
Nathan Collins
I use to ride in ~30°F about 10 years ago. Had to stop every 10 miles or so to put my gloves on the engine. Finally bought snowmobile gloves and that sorta helped. Then my legs and feet suffered. I'm too old for that shit now
Dominic Edwards

Lucas Brooks

Adam Walker
Up in Iowa I end up going 75 or so. You would want a bit more comfy than what you put up there at that sort of speed. But hey, if that's all you have to deal with on your commute then keep on keepin' on.
>look at weather for Des Moines >-2F Glad I'm in Florida right now. Have to head home tomorrow or day after though.
Nolan Sanders
link please im gay but i need to know more
Ryder Lopez
old video from 2012, dont even have it anymore.
Jose Brooks
>she doesnt fuck the grom
what a shame
Mason Williams
>Cleaning lady gets fucked But theres a jap porno about some girl in full leathers that fucks a cb400 but i havent been able to find the full movie.
Brandon Hall
There's also the Golden Boy anime (10/10 juvenile comedy) where a gal in full leathers gets herself off after swigging a can of booze by revving a Bimota somethingorother sportbike.
Jonathan Bell
I gotchu senpai. This is what you're looking for.
Luke Lopez
>tfw hate sport bikes but want one
what get?
Jack Wright
Yeah but thats just a cartoon.
Asher Torres
Have you ever tried heated grips?
I ask because heated gloves are shit. They can never do as much as a good pair of heated grips can. I have multiple bikes, and one of them has a battery that's a bitch to get at, so I have a pair of removable heated grips that are powered off a battery I stuff into my jacket.
I have baby hands and even if I layer up and use heated gloves, they get freezing cold. But heated grips keep them fairly nice and toasty.
Brayden Campbell
Gixxer bro! Unless youre still a virgin
Gavin Roberts
>2012
Pretty sure the first US groms were very limited in 2014 and 2015 is considered the first real year for their existence in the states.
Brody Anderson
Lol fucking gay i bet your hands would love to get warm with my dick
Ian Rogers
what kind of displacement do an gixxer does
Joseph Jones
Bangbros are chads and fuck all the pucci so i i bet honda gave then free groms out of respect for fucking their mothers, wives and underaged daughters
Ethan Russell
Yeah and it's fucking funny. Granted I was all of 19 at the time but one scene made me fall out of my goddamn chair I was laughing so hard.
I like the grips on the DR and the V-Stronk as they are, but I probably should just break bad and get a set. >removable battery-op grips Link?
Nathaniel Anderson
1000cc
Thomas Powell
what the fuck nigger i just want to go fast im not trying to hit warp speed
im thinking more like a cb500f
Nolan Parker
>warp speed >not wanting to go plaid You know you want the turboboosuh.
Shitposting aside, 600-class bortspike will be fine. Go sit on a few used ones at a dealer or something and see what "fits."
Matthew Martinez
Thats not a sports bike virgin boi
Jeremiah Phillips
Cb500s are great, but you'd be happier on a ninja 650 or FZ6R. The R6 and similar bikes are nice, but much more expensive and more ideal for a track than fucking around on the streets.
CBR500R and CBR650F are both "sportsbikes" in their intended form. But realistically, you want the 650, an FZ6R, or a ninja 650.
Chase Clark
I want a sport bike down the road but I want to be comfy asf also
Am I leaning towards a sport touring?
I dont want to be uncle 45yo sportTouringBoi
has anyone ever ridden an f4i?
Mason Peterson
The instructor of my advanced riders course had a 929 and he fucking loved it.
Jace Collins
F U T U R A U T U R A
Gavin Morris
929 is a fireblade
Yeah, ive ridden the f4i and is pretty comfy for a sportbike. It got replaced by the 650. Its a good bike, you can get them for cheap and is almost as comfy as a vfr.
this is objective fact. anyone that disagrees with me probably uses unsealed chains and bought used
Cameron Lee
I use sealed chains, and bought a used lightweight low dp bike.
Gabriel Martin
Says the faggot that uses dino car oil on his cg125
Dominic Robinson
>trying to legitimize being poor Pls leave
Jackson Edwards
is this baiting grom owners?
I caught the bait
Jace Butler
>not getting dickered and /comfy/ while it's cold and rainy and doing some much needed bike work
tell me someone here works on their own shit
Noah Sullivan
>reading up on new emission laws >OBD2 on all bikes >77dB noise limit >Can't have breather hoses >Abysmal particulate limits They want to kill bikes, don't they? I don't understand, we're already a declining industry, why do they feel the need to make it even more unprofitable?
Aiden Ward
I do. Only cucks let some guy touch their bikes.
Ayden Parker
Because bikes are fredom. Government and corporation wants self driving cars, plus millenials dont want to own cars or drive.
William Ortiz
Sure do
Jackson Brooks
Yee. Although I'm probably gonna have someone fix the trans on one of my bikes next month. Because without having a garage, I'd rather not try to handle a job I've never done.
Andrew Reed
das clean m8
:^) yessir, i will sometimes pay for tire changes but i bring the wheel in, i will prob buy the tools to do it myself (((efficiently))) soon tho
that shit shined up and blindin m80, bro get the manual online and look up any guide you can, WE CAN DO ANYTHING
Jacob Wright
I just take the wheels in for a tire change, can't be fucked to take em back out to pump them up/buy an air compressor, no room in apartment garage either.
Jaxson Torres
I've already got the manuals and looked shit up. Problem is I'd have to take over someone's garage for a little while. I'd rather take it to a shop before I hassle someone like that. Still debating it, but 90% I'm just gonna take it to someone, if I can get someone to do it cheap enough.
Mason Smith
Wheel are not cuckold if you remove them yourself.
Samuel Baker
77dB is quieter than my intake It's 2^13 quieter than your current exhaust Just the wind hitting your body will be louder
Mason Stewart
m8s im in a small apt with no garage, but ya i take my tires to the shop for now, doing everything else in my apt tho. If you a bachelor4life like me and dont gotta answer to anyone bring that shit inside, nothing like a temp controlled workshop, only problem is your home quickly turns into a garage(and i like it)
>nobody to bitch about pouring .5L of dirty fork oil everywhere freedom
Of course, now it's so cold in my garage(Uninsulated) that it's just beyond miserable to be out there.
Landon Robinson
Place I live is 12'x10', on the third floor. Ain't happening. Probably against the rules anyway.
Michael Hernandez
Ducati 1098 that has been turned into a street fighter for 5k dollarydoos? has 50,000km on the clock, needs new head stem bearing, new steering damper and a new clutch, otherwise everything is mechanically sound, valves were just adjusted and won't need doing again until 100,000km and the bike has full service history which is 10 services (1 every 5000km) I can't see a downside i mean i can do all the work it needs myself and it is not even $1000 that needs to be spent on it, it wasn't even turned into a streetfighter because it was dropped either it even comes with all the original plastics and what not to turn it back into a normal 1098 and all the other 1098s i can find are listed at 10k+ for the same kilometers.
talk me out of it.
Parker Campbell
k well you guys all got some clean machines, im a grimey greasy fucker, glad to hear this board aint a bunch of Nancys, i dont fuck with 4 wheels so i dont know bout the rest of this board tho
never had a garage desu, also i live in TX but its a bit too chilly 4 my willy right now, would get a heater or bring that heffer indoors
thats rough m8, my lifestyle has made apt hunting tedious as fuck, which ill be doing very soon and i aint in the mood desu
Jacob Robinson
swap my own frame, do my own motor work, built a few bikes, swapped motors, built my own wheel balancer to do my own tires, radiators, hoses, valves, paint, gusseted frames, built subframes, tail swaps, rebuilt forks, etc etc etc
Nathan Jones
I had a garage til about the last couple years. It's not bad, it has it's pros and cons. Seeing as I live here for free. Even if I am technically paying for it, I never see the money to begin with
Lucas Thomas
It's where i live
Henry Taylor
>talk me out of it No, do it.
Brody Thomas
I'm up in cleveland, and it usually doesn't get this cold till febuary.
All my bikes are too big to ride in the snow/are in storage.
Liam Baker
It's absolutely roached. I'd bet my bottom dollar those fairings are cheap chinkshit.
Buy that bike and you're in for a world of hurt.
Ian Myers
Nope they are the original ducati plastics, the ones that are on it are cheap chinese ones that were cut up for the street fighter looks. it's also not like it was a race bike either the dude used it for touring
Hunter White
WOW BRO IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU DONT EVEN WANT ADVICE
Thomas Brooks
yeah buy it im sure it will be running like a Nigerian for less than $1k good luck ;)
Joseph Gomez
well what is the advice other than just shit posting? do you know of any common problems with the 1098 at 50,000km other than the clutch and head stem bearings that would be a deal breaker that i need to know about?
5k is too much for a shitpile project no matter what bro. it's a money pit.
Hudson Moore
how is it even a project, the bike runs now and is registered with rwc, id just be replacing the clutch and shit on it because its all worn and id rather replace shit before it breaks. stop shitposting nobike
Grayson Robinson
I use miles, not KM, so i ignored the service intervals,
You need to do valves every 12,000KM, not every 100,000KM. Ducatis are super sensitive about valve adjustments, and their top of the line super sport i'd imagine is the most sensitive.
You know what, go ahead and buy that bike. It will be a very valuable lesson
Jace Campbell
im the shitposter, if it runs and you have an extra $2k to deal with the unexpecteds and are confident in your abilities then go for it, a used Duc is a money pit get ready u nigger
Asher Barnes
Sounds like he's just weeding out the shit advice from retards
Eli Gray
see thanks, that is the advice i am after. so it has missed about 4 valve adjustments then, so the valves are likely fucked
