automatic xv40s have a sealed transmission, no dipstick, no drain plug/fill plug, just an inspection plug. the ATF has to be at a temperature between 40C and 45C to flow out, and refilling it is a bitch too. I'd do it but I don't have time and the OEM transmission fluid is expensive.

Or when someone talks about racing, are they actually talking about taking corners and whatnot? I mean, clearly some cars are just better in a straight line. Some are shit in the straights, but great around corners. I think it depends mainly on the driver, myself. I drive a 94 gt, pretty slow by modern standards. But the way I drive I can beat most people on the road. I drive like I actually want to die though.

Yeah by definition it's racing, but the difference is drag racing is just how much money can you pour into your car, actual racing of course is effected by how much money you have to an extent, but you'd be surprised at what something like even a stock MX5 or MR-S could catch up to or oven pass on corners.
