you can also go with another manufacturer if you want

A gun so I can shoot myself.

Lincoln Mark IX.

A vehicle that's actually reliable.

move all our production to China.

A 2000 pound truck with a bulletproof diesel and a short wheelbase.

fuck off globalist

4-door mustang
Call it a """fastback""" or a """sportsroof"""

Fiesta RS

a 2 liter turbo 4 cylinder, rwd, hatchback that weighs under 3500 pounds. flappy paddle DSG with 8 gears or a 7 speed manual. starting under $30,000.

A Mustang with an aluminum chassis

>remake the cobra
>develop entire chassis, drive train, body and interior from the ground up
>no parts bin
>sell it for $25,000
>???
>profit

Bring back the european escort as a RWD coupe with a turbo I4

a sports car

Ford GT with a good engine. we could call it: "Ford GT The we were just pretending to be retarded edition", it'll be a hit and we could make 3000 instead of 1000. guarantee you even more people would be rushing to buy one.

no bigger than a miata or a mk4 escort, and also no more than 250whp but no less than 200.

So much this.

>2L I4T RWD Hatchback
Why develop a completely new plaform, when they already have the Focus RS?
>DSG
When they have just developed a 10 speed automatic?
>Sportscar
Would compete with the Mustang too much.
>Under 30K
Pipedram, especially on a unicorn chassis.

Another crossover

>Shorten chassis of new Continental to a coupe, add sporty trim and body work for a new Thunderbird with an AWD TT V6 and a six speed, to directly compete for nostalgic boomers who would otherwise buy a low spec BMW or Merc.

>Slot entire Tbird line as a Taurus coupe equivalent.

>New GT with a twinturbo, direct injection Voodoo: the Ecoboost V8
>That same engine in the new GT500 Mustang
>450hp V6 Ecoboost for the new Ranger/Bronco

This could actually be pretty good with a Lincoln badge on it.

new Lincoln halo car that is like a Toyota Century.

How about we take the fiesta and put the engine in the trunk?

This. I dont think ford realizes how much bad street cred they earned in the u.s with their shitty power shift autos in the fiesta and focus and the early ecoboost engines. Some of the most unreliable vehicles availiable that dont say Fiat on the hood

And the focus rs headgasket deal.

This.

My family has been buying Ford for nearly 40 years now and my dad's purchase of a new Focus Titanium that somehow eluded shifting properly no matter what Ford did to fix it was what got him into leasing a Maxima.

I don't care what it is as long as it doesn't have the godawful battery placement of the current escape

Nobody's going to buy a fucking Lincoln.
Mustang appeals to the heartland
Lincoln is for Uber and chinks.

new m3 to look like this and equip it with airbags to raise and lower it on demand

Give Lincoln its own platform.
A Ranger and Explorer that are not weak Euro/Aussie trash.
A sedan geared specifically for fleet, such as a Crown Victoria (with automation coming through, this could potentially take off.)

Would fucking buy

Oh, and the current GT without the parts bin engine.

A bare bones yet sporty 5.0 V8, 4x4, manual transmission truck that only comes in regular cab long and short beds marketed towards young people and tradesmen.

Cut all lines except the mustang, Taurus, f series, and focus. Taurus gets the 3.5 v6 NA and coyote 5.0. Focus gets turbo 2.3 built by cosworth and NA 3.5. F150 gets manual transmission option, get rid of ecoboosts. Build a 383 engine based on a revised coyote platform, make it Mach 1 package for mustang and an engine option for f150s and 6.6L stroker option for the F250+.
>new: 4.0 v6 built as well as the coyote. bronco the size of the escape with subdued second row of doors where the pillar blends into tinted glass. 4.0 and 5.0 engine options with manual transmission and manual shift transfer cases. Torsen differential standard in the rear. Make the top and side panels and glass bolt onto integrated roll cage. Rear seats fold down flat.

high compression NA engines and i6 diesels.

moar ecoboost

egoboots

Take the 5.0 Coyote and shove it into the Focus (with RWD of course). Bam, instant C63/M3 killer.

On the right.

>buying an automatic fiesta or focus

cool

RWD fiesta

Give every car/truck a 7.3 Power Stroke

awd manual coupe with 285 bhp and a turbo

Same thing that saved Chrysler. Were gonna dump a shitton of money into developing a cheap, dependable platform and sell cars in every possible configuration for it.
Rear engine, rear wheel drive to meet with pedestrian safety standards. Luggage is not hard material so stick the trunk in the front.
Sell the shit out of this car/ platform and sell it for 7k or less brand new.

Bring back the Escort name in the form of a low end barebones 4dr/2dr sedan, no flash or flare on the outside with a simple no fuss no flare 4cl engine aiming at 25+ mpg without any fucking about with EcoBoost, with room for factory provided upgrades for almost everything including engine enhancements, interior improvements (bluetooth, leather, power everything, etc) modern safety features (rear camera, etc) and get the base car to a 15k pricepoint or under on the new market.

First goal of the car is to pick up the market of young people getting their first new car while trust in brands like Kia and Hyundai aren't as trusted as a name like ford, then to an older crowd who want a simple gas sipping go getter with none of the flashiness other cars have. The main idea being that the money will really be made from upgrades done on purchase. On top of this lowkey you could market it as the ideal budget enthusiasts car due to it being so simple to work on.

Offer multiple colors too so that it isn't solely looked at as a budget rentacar. Market it as a car for everyone, simplicity at its finest. Try and make each escort unique to the customer at a budget, build a new generation of Ford customers that hopefully bring more customers in and also replace these cars with a higher end model down the road.

TL;DR new escort, make it cheap as hell while highly customizable. Use it to build a market of new customers across multiple age groups.

dude their auto is shit.

$15k street legal gokart. Revvy NA i4 with a premium V8 option, also high revving and low displacement.

Put a new front piece and rear lights on the V6 an I-4 Mustang and call it Capri and bring it to europe.
Bring back RWD Escort. From poverty spec 1.0L 4-door to fire breathing 2.0L turbo Cosworth 2-door(and 3-door wagon too) and keep it light and simple and manual.
Diesel option on F-150 and revive the 300cid I-6.

>Ford
You know what that stands for? Fix it again, Tony.

>Ranger
Convince Ford it is absolutely imperative to have multiple wheelbases for the new Ranger, from Regular Cab to Extended Cab in order to appeal to companies buying fleet vehicles, and make sure to sell it with a V8, because rednecks prefer them and turbo maintenance killed fleet vehicle F150 sales.
>Bronco
Base it on a Regular Cab/Short Bed Ranger for the base, as well as a four door version to appeal to normies on a longer wheelbase. Bolt a cab onto the back to meet NHTSA regulations, but have it be removable by the owner.
>Cobra
Source the chassis from Mazda, restyle the body a la Fiat, and sell with a Coyote motor for $50,000 and enjoy massive profit margins because it's completely outsourced/part-binned.

Ford actually does "planned obsolesce".

Take a look at their ecoshit engine and how long they can go up too until it shits the bed. Ford knew what they were doing and saw this as a big cash cow engine.

Here's what I mean:
>Dumb potential customer needs a car
>he goes to his local Ford dealer
>gets a car of his choice with the ecoboost engine
>drives and maintains it for a couple of years
>uh oh, the engine went kaputs.
>He then replaces it for a new one every two years (or if the owner was smart, he moves to another car from a different manufacture)
>The loop continues.

Ford knows what they're doing and they are intentionally putting shitty engines in their cars and expecting the dumb brand loyal customer to buy one every two years or so.

Not only that but their leasing also sucks too, so if you wanted to lease a Ford car you might have to pay more because of their low residual value.

Ford is the jews of the automotive world.

>inline 4 ecoboost
>longitudinally mounted
>FR layout
>Manual
>3 door fastback
>call it escort

>tfw no more F-150 base OJ Simpson Bronco

Well, that's what made their sales slowly dropped. It'd be smart if they went with a Ranger based Bronco.

Kill all v8s, replace with 1.5l inline 3s with 50psi boost that are EPA rated at 45 mpg highway but only get like 16 in reality and only make power with 93 octane gas. Use timing belts that run in the oil behind the timing cover and belt drive oil pumps. Use paper, water soluble head gaskets. Try to make the worst possible transaxle in history. Build all passenger cars in China. Give all pickups retarded "[...]" LED running lights and weak as fuck, annealed "military grade" aluminum foil beds and fenders. If somehow, someone really fucks up and a rwd car with a manual gets built, use the cheapest, noisiest manual transmission available. Make 900 different CUVs that all look pretty much the same. Build a $400000 hypercar and put an overboosted piece of shit explorer engine in it instead of a v8. Never ever let anyone test this hypercar against other hypercars that have real engines. Try to complete with FCA, Land Rover and smart to be the least dependable manufacturer in existence. Still sell a shit load of cars to retards due to retarded brand loyalty and marketing slogans.

>Resurrect and update the 4.9l 300 I6
>Boost it
>Pair it to a 7 speed manual/8speed auto
>Aim squarely to meet/exceed the Corvette
>Name it Destroyer
>FIRE

Who hurt you, user?
Point to where on the mustang it hurts the most.

Bring back the 02-05 Tbirds with updated parts.
Bring back the Ranchero
Bring back the Shelby Cobra

I would love to see a revival for a Thunderbird. They might sell it under the Lincoln brand however.

There is no market for a utility coupe in burger land, so not gonna happen.

A Shelby Cobra may actually happen.

Goddamn you hit every nail on the head.

Don’t forget all their rip off designs, literally china: the brand

The state of v8lets kek

All-electric self driving Mustang crossover.

Ford motorcycle

security will see you out

Well, it will have turbos that grenade, transmissions that will either not shift properly or grenade, engines that will have warped heads and have issues with carbon buildup on the valves, also shitty fake ass induction noises.

This. Goddamn, this.

Given the success of the F-150 Platinum/King Ranch/Limited, do you think a Lincoln pickup with a $75k base price could be viable?

>Lincoln Mark IX

If they made that, they better slip Ford's new 7L V8 in it.

An econobox with a North-South engine and rear wheel drive.

Nope.

No point in a Lincoln pickup if the top trim F-150 has all the luxury features a Lincoln pickup would have.

It's just going to be a Ford F-150 Limited with a Lincoln badge on it.

stop this madness

More I6-engines, more turboing, offer V8's supercharged only, finally, Ford GT and foxbodies but with pop-ups.

Here's an idea you fucking morons, rehire your previous CEO and commit sudoku for being retarded enough to oust him in the first place.

>b-but muh tesla meme stock!!

Its simple, AWD, manual, 8 cylinder sedan like the Chevy SS except AWD

>~150hp
>FR
>Manuel
>Shitbox

I'd be curious how well it would do if they built a truck with the current gen Navigator interior.

yea its called a miata. Ford has never made anyhting that small

The au falcon but with cool racing stripes.

in apefrica maybe

wow what a shitbox

they usually look like this

wow what a shitbox

and the Miata isnt?

nope

youtube.com/watch?v=G39yB-jg1v8

too bad the civilian version was a piece of shit

Ford would be out of their mind if they attempted that though.

But I keep forgetting that a Ford Super Duty dully with the Limited trim will cost over 100,000 fucking dollars. That's almost semi truck territory.

So another Lincoln truck might be likely in the future, and after all trucks are becoming life style vehicles so this happening is a mid to high possibility.

STAY WUT HER JOHNNY

Ford did this twice with the Lincoln Blackwood and Mark LT. Like hell they'll do it again. Plus I don't think they want to see a small dent in their pickup sales.

>International Rally's won by the Ford Escort:
I dunno but a lot.
>International Rally's won by the Miata:

The Mark LT was the most egregious violator of the "Ford with Lincoln badges".

Ranger Raptor

It's a reality.

Diesel electric like the ge electronotive.

Of course a year and a half after that, hybrids came out.

make vehicles that don't ride harsh like motherfucker on anything but highways

>North-South engine
You mean perpindicular?

A slightly larger ranger but with a smaller engine and can get over 20mpg city.

I mean north-south, it's a common term, google it.

corvette

Large full size RWD sedan with big trunk with V8. The Crown Vic 2

Don’t really care about Ford, but I think their cars would be pretty ok if they bought their engines and transmissions from GM.
