I would 100% buy a Nissan S30 new, but it would be very interesting to see how cars like the EF hatch would perform if they were just re-released as is. Pretty much everyone wants an FD over and RX-8, but I wonder if older cars would go over well with non car people. Do you think the lack of power steering, manual transmission, and power windows would turn people away, or would they buy it anyway because adjusted for inflation they were still like 7k new. (talking about the civic)

$52,000 new, worth every penny.

Cool do you have $1.3million dollars?

Carry an E39 to my grave

>people actually swap v8s into these

If it makes you feel any better id swap in a k20. car would still be nearly its original weight afterwards.

...

If I borrowed some money, yes

it doesnt matter, look at the passion the engineers took when they put in the rotary, if you want a shitty honda engine go buy a honda

>2789lb
>sports car

I would get a 1969 firebird
Engine: 400 ram air IV
Transmission: Heavy Duty 4 speed manual
Color: Liberty blue
Interior: Black

engineers all over the world put passion into lots of things from Honda's F1/Indy car engines to a pillow.

It would still be heavier, have a higher center of gravity and impact the weight distribution

This, sweet jesus yes.

2011 P71

>$27,000 dollarydoos

This

>implying cars cost more these days
~$21000 for a base model without horn, headlights, or even a fucking windshield

it would be like 85k adjust for inflation which is about what they cost now

When birds shit on you they do it directly on your head instead of your nice car.

Why do you think the ladies hats are shaped that way?

1 Series M

Fully loaded Buick Roadmaster wagon. The big B-body one.

1973 Ferrari Daytona
$140k adjusted but is still a achievable dream car in my life time.

So ... nothing changes. Still down. Sweet.

It's a feature!

>Buy brand new Mercedes E class from 2000 and under.
>have car that will last forever brand new

1961 Jaguar E-Type
Originally, $5600
Adjusted, $46,000
That'd actually be pretty attainable.
Too bad they're usually worth $200K + today for MK1's.

> forgot pic

I'd probably get a 1970 hemi cuda, which was about $4000 new. That's like $28000 in today's money. The car i posted was for sale for $3.2 million last year.

So, why don't you buy one? I'm sure you can find a very low mileage example today that is good as new for equal to what they cost new when they came out. No excuses now.

It didn't come out in the states.

Buy bus tickets :c
