If I won the lottery, I'd open up a shop and fix up E34 and E38 BMWs. I'd take old shells, strip them to bare metal, then work on bringing them up to spec. Strengthen the chassis from front to rear, renovate the suspension, and replace every point of wear. I'd go through the engines and fix all the typical maladies and offer a choice of forced induction or racier N/A options. Luxury fittings like tweed seats, improved HVAC, modern navigation and stereo would be standard without taking away from the experience. I think it could be very successful.

You're a goodboy OP, hope all goes well in future

If I won the lottery I'd buy every 80s-90s shitbox I've ever wanted, with a personal mechanic dedicated to maintaining my fleet.

This user. 80's bikes are also very aesthetic, I think I'd get a few of those too

same except for e39s and e31s
maybe e85s once they become old enough

I would definitely buy a restomodded e38 from you user

just invest in cryptocurrency nigga
then you can follow your dreams with your massive gains.

does anyone trust that bubble

Thank you. It'll be an uphill push

e39 and e31 are sexy, no arguments against that

I'd love if you did, and I'd build one so you'd love it!

I'm with the other guy, C-curr seems like a huge bubble and until it makes a sizable adjustment, I'll avoid it.

My dream is to give this treatment to E30s. Let's make it happen boys

we could open up a shop together. e30 e34 e38

That would be glorious. Someday user

for me it would be 70's and 80's benz. Just fully restore and offer as a new car. Pretty sure theres a finland company or something that does this with w123's.

Add E32's to the list and I'll come aboard as a "specialist".

Same but for W201's.
>Strip & sandblast
>Seamweld, extreme chassis stiffening
>Evolution 2 conversion with lots of carbon fiber bits
>Classic looking interior with modern comforts
>M178 biturbo V8 from the E63S (600hp)
>Transaxle from the AMG GT for weight distribution
>Optional Graziano 7 speed dogleg manual
Call it the Evolution 3.

Think about it, for 250K EUR you could probbly have one of these, or a low mileage original Evo 2. Guess which one will be more fun to drive...

No joke, my uncle owns an old Evo 2 as his DD. Bought it from Germany when it was still brand new

Also, same treatment for W124's.

W126 get an M158 of course.

I have no words to express my jealousy.

Kinda same. It's far from perfect though, that thing had 400k on the clock last I saw it and looked just like your regular well used Benz from the 90's.
Not saying it's a total piece of shit, but you can tell that the car has been driven and not garaged all its life.

Man, I've been living up these dreams and fantasies about winning the lottery, retiring from my 6 to 4 job and buying this one workshop nearish me so I could open up my own little specialist shop that specializes in old BMWs, I could just work on old shitboxes and watch anime all day long, living the dream.

Hey OP, my E34 needs work. I'm counting on ya!

Cool except pls no ipad meme

If I'd win I'd buy 3 Ford GT's and the rest of the ecoboost™.

The double round headlight ones are peak aesthetic but I think those are 90s.

I'd get a lot of civics for 3k tastefully mod some but then use them so I'd never have to park next to anyone else ever again.

I have one of these that I got after my father passed, 1994 E32 740i with 160k, it’s broken down outside my house right now and won’t fucking start.

I looked under the stupid fucking hood that opens up backwards to find that my dad taped up all of the intake shit with tape. The doors won’t fucking shut and the rear suspension is destroyed.

Other than it not working, it’s a nice car.

WAT Motoren Werke when?
