Not really. Durante is literally responsible for the port. He doesn't work for xseed. He's just an autist that fixes shitty PC ports. Xseed themselves have mentioned before that CS1 and 2 PC ports are outsourced and they can't really talk about it much. Xseed did jack shit in this case. If NISA got Durante to fix their shit, would you praise NISA or Durante? I'd choose the latter desu

Looks like what I had when I played it on console settings on my laptop. I switched it down to portable and it works and looks fine now

That's why they don't port anything themselves. Sara's their only programmer and she doesn't do any console-to-PC ports yet, just grabbing/recreating certain features and content when possible.

It's a weird rendering issue (looks like something to do with LOD/depth of field) which Durante's working to fix right now.

In this case it'd be more like if durante did all of their work for them and didn't manage to melt your PC with the port. Of course you'd praise durante and not NISA.

Except for how he's literally working for them when he did this and is still literally working for them on patching. Companies bringing in specialists to handle things they're not equipped for is standard practice everywhere. Just finished playing through Garrelia fortress and honestly, coming out of playing Ao I can understand the hype connecting this bit of the story together. My first time around I had no god damned clue what was going on, I don't know, but I find this more enjoyable so far.
