I've never gonna farm all these Quick Assaults out, it always feels like I have something that's higher priority (not that my damage dealers really need more than one or two). Now I'm feeling a little tempted to flush some tickets down the drain (mostly since I haven't done that since Rikku's banner) but I know it's better to wait and keep saving for what I really want.

Thank god for 4x Speed. Also the camera keeps fucking up around giant enemies such as this. My real complaint though about the game? Your characters will keep spamming a debuff spell, for example slow, even if an enemy is immune to it.. Yet they will know not to cast it if the enemy is afflicted by Slow.

There's no foe immune though. I have to turn it off or swap it entirely. It's somewhat annoying that they know it inuitively for one thing but not the other.

Again, just because there isn't active war doesn't mean that it's full-out meaningful peace. TA2 doesn't give much of an indication of the exact situations going on in Ivalice except that it isn't full out war. The exact conditions aren't know, so it's difficult to make any predictions regarding how peaceful the peace actually is. Just because people aren't actively Fielding entire armies doesn't mean that things are swell.

People say Orlandeau's LB (and similar LBs) aren't worth levelling, but although I wouldn't dump 4 or 5star LB pots into them, the MP-less AoE and auto-clear when you turn on Autolimit is actually pretty damn handy. Just saying.

Units I'm looking at getting in the near future are Mistair and 9s. They are both 4 star bases. Part of 9s TMR is a 40% physical damage reduction skill that stacks with Rikku's damage reduction. Mistair is a magical cover tank that makes a lot of current and future battles easier (see 3* espers).

How many batches should we expect until we see Mistair, anyway?

Well, it's more like RW (a game that just has XII names and labels slapped on it for recognition, and doesn't really say anything about Ivalice as a whole anyways) and TA (that has it's focus on other things) aren't particularly logical politically especially when taken as sequels of a game that was quite logical in that manner (XII's only illogicality being the ridiculous displays of power by the main party at the very end). SE might have some logical blunders in every game, but XII is actually overall extremely good with logic, which is what makes it's sequels so much more obnoxious.

It is extremely likely that Bergan was given no orders to kill everyone else in the vicinity, as that would be a huge effort for no real gain. He was there to test the usefulness/effects of nethecite in humes in battle and perhaps accomplish something useful while doing so, Venat wouldn't have been so closely observant if the testing wasn't the main purpose. Bergan still possessed most of his senses (at least until the end of the battle) so it wasn't as though he was an unsafe bet around people in general.
It's far more likely that, upon seeing exactly how likely the kiltias's support was, Bergan overreacted and took the most direct method to solve the problem, regardless of what else was sitting in that direct path.
