got my VQHR35 Z for 10K with less than a 6 figure into mileage if you really really wanted you could then spend 10 Grand the N/A way with minimal gains until real internal work is done / or waste a minimum of 6 grand for the shittiest turbo kit either way youll make a fuck ton of power for a reliable build however not reliable on turbo if YOU DO NOT BUILD THE ROTATING ASSEMBLY heard plenty of stories and have seen friends lose their Z's motors when turbod and not built on the bottom end THE ENGINE DOESNT LIKE BOOST do it the right way and always have the power instead of throwing a rod or spinning a bearing or fucking a piston or blowing off the manifold if you arent GOING to build the bottom then go the N/A way and be happy

You could probably get a new 2017 for around $20k if they have any left on the lot. Trucks are cheap when you don't get the longantler z7771 bro edition. The 4cyl Taco and Colo get good mpg when you're not using them for truck things, The 6 speed manual helps a lot. The're still rated to tow 3500lbs which you won't be doing with a civic any time soon. Even with the weak 4cyl they have basically the same power to weight ratio as a CVPI.
