8E still has the "replace historical officer" option so yes.

My favorite thing to do in Empires games is to make characters for a lot of the important generics. Ranging from adapting their DW Blast cards, so making my own interpretations based on their history, to making jokes like turning He Man into He-Man.

The names in yellow indicate they're linked to an actual generic in game. So when you go to invade Nanzhong, these three will take the place of the real Ahui Nan, Jinhuan Sanjie and Dong Tuna.

The Shinsegeumi have shit tons of otomes and shows and movies. The trouble is finding ones that are historically accurate. Just look for live action ones and you'll eventually hit something watchable.

SW4 Empires lay-out for doing stuff between battles, while aesthetic, somehow feels lacking compared to DW8 Empires. Maybe I just prefer a throne room setting to a open wall base.
