I managed to steal some while an ice warrior was distracted by some buff dude. I died, but I only had my pickaxe so I kept both ores.
It was very exciting.

Is crafting supposed to be just a huge gold sink or what? All the training methods are hugely expensive other than spinning flax or making gold amulets, which are both obviously pitifully slow

Is there anything redeeming about crafting?

He had killed it like 3700 times using the dh method, this time he accidentally double clicked melee prayer or something and it ko'd him. That's generally how it kills people. Gotta farm it for those seeds.

HCIMs are the least impressive thing in this game that I'm fairly certain are meant to be impressive. Legitimate deaths in this game are rare as fuck outside of PVP if you have sufficient preparation and experience for whatever you're doing, it seems like HCIMs only ever die to dumb mistakes instead of actually doing anything risky.

It's also still pretty young in the HCIM lifetime, so even the most advanced players are just getting comfortable with going to GWD and the like. There's not much that's truly risky outside the wildy given a perfect connection, you can safe your way through about all of PvM.

The right column is the highest kc by any hcim living or dead, but only counts kills done while the account was hcim.

The left column is highest kc by hcim that are currently alive. Accounts that score on the right can also be on the left since they are included as "any hcim living or dead".

it's pretty much never worth it to level two skills at once
firemaking is useless outside of quest and diary reqs, and you also need i believe 80 fm for infernal axe
level firemaking to 50 by burning the highest tier log you can, and afterwards you can go to the skilling "boss" wintertodt for 200-300k fm xp/hour with profit

If you put money in and assign them things to do you can double your money over time

yes, it's guaranteed profit. put all your citizens into wood and the rest herb.

what seeds did you use? I was going hard in farming but stopped in 77 cause i kept having to use low level seeds and i was down to oak trees. i figured i'd wait a few months till i have enough money to grind it out until 99.
