There was no going back after DE, the shitposting then left its mark on then newfags and set a precedence

It is actually dying, I face A ranks half of the tine and I'm AA3, the only plausible explanation are either that the game has an algorithm that can see if you are running a meme deck and makes you face lower ranks or that more and more players are getting sick of this game and only newer players are avaiable for matchmaking

An AA2+ player can get matched against the #1 Master player on the leaderboard. It doesn't mean anything.

I don't understand. I was doing my dailies every day during the spawn meta and I wasn't even bloodnigging yet as soon as the nerfs, I have been skipping days and ignoring quests the small time I do spend in the game. I haven't even used the packs I have or tried new decks and I haven't had any fun lately. The game somehow got WORSE.

You just play against the same cancerous tier 1 decks from last expansion. Even ToG had more decks. That's why it's so fucking boring. I don't know how they'll nerf blood this time.

Because instead of fixing the game, they actually bring us back to ToG era where Eachtar ran rampant.

They should just nerf Eachtar. It would help the game a bit and shadownigger's winrate won't change since they'll just switch to Thane.

You enjoyed the tier 0 enviroment where there was a big bad to beat and you would get normal matches only once in a while, meaning the game was more predictable and felt "familiar".
Now the meta shifted in something way, way more varied, you truly won't know what is going to come out when you click the ranked button, is it going to be a shadownigger? A come on and ramp dragon? A hag? Maybe a Dshitter? Or perhaps a bloodfag? Dirtruners are also rising in usage,hell even sword and forest sometimes pop their head outside their holes too. You simply are a kind of person that doesn't enjoy having a meta where facing the same deck twice in a row is not the rule.

When and how does Cygames address the clear disadvantage of going second? Its absurd that you can get blown out as P2 for missing one beat in response to your opponent's curve.

I suppose that makes sense. These past few weeks, simply teching cards like Griffith with Haven or Iron Maiden vs spawncucks was cool because it easily added consistency and it felt great to see them squirm once their one-dimensional strats collapsed. Nowadays, it feels like there were more unwinnable scenarios because 1p vs 2p is still laughable and some matchups are 8-2 tier bad even if you do go first.
